I love this weight. It looks great and works great! It's short height allows my dust covers to close. Others that I've had worked well but were too tall for some of my dust covers. A quality product!

This thing is dense!Logically, I can see how it would help the TT stay consistent when paired with the Fluance TTs that have the sensored motors. Works well with my RT82, which Fluance specifically states is compatible with this weight.

Supposedly these type of weights should help with the warped records to flatten them a bit. I don't really have very warped records so cannot comment if this weight really helps with that. I believe it also should help with the speed fluctuations, since its more mass added to the table and any changes would be smoothed out by the inertia. Again can't really say if it helps with any of that.Bought it more for the aesthetics than anything, and i do like how it looks.Its pretty heavy but on my turntable (Fluance) it does not slow the plate, turn-table is able to adjust with the added weight from this thing.

Excellent weight and the felt underside is soft and appears to be quality material. There is a noticeable change in the clarity of sound as I presume the weight causes a dampening of the vibrations. The only drawback, and it is more of a problem with the turntable, is that some turntables lack the power to accommodate the extra heft. My Fluance turntable appears perfectly suited to handle this weight, but my Denon does not. Again, this weight does what it is supposed to, it is the turntable you need to worry about
