Work really well and have a pleasant, lightly sweet flavor- I have had severe GI issues including daily vomiting and regurgitation along with acid reflux and erosion of esophgus, indigestion, bloating, vitamin deficiencies causing lethargy, brain fog, vision problems, acne and dry skin, hair loss, etc for over 5 years with no medical answers... found these online and decided to try both of NOW's chewables and capsules (had better results with the chewables...maybe the outer capsule?). I had, at first, pretty decent results, but not quite there yet... things were definitely much better, but still not as great as I'd hoped.... so then along with taking the ChewyZymes, I tried removing all soy (and it's derivatives: not easy in USA-its added to almost everything!!!) from my diet. I immediately felt amazing! Everything started to go back to normal, like when I was younger! No more GI issues, vomiting, stomach aches.. my skin cleared up and hair came back in, even my vocal chords started to heal so well I could sing again: I FELT GREAT!!!! Then I had several personal issues; a death in family, a car that died same week and along with a bunch of other financial crap going on- with all that, I didn't remember to take the enzymes. I forgot to take my normal 1-2 enzymes with each meal and quickly, more and more, the symptoms returned.... getting worse and worse until I realized that after about 4 weeks of feeling again like crap, I had not been taking them with my food. Over the last month, I'd been really sporadic about taking the enzymes....and it showed almost right away... As soon as I put this together (brain fog had come back with a vengeance!) I immediately took a couple ChewyZmes and my stomach ache got better, then within 2 days of returning to vigilant enzymes before every little thing that I eat or drank, I am now again back to normal! I now realize that I have a deficiency with my own enzyme production and will probably never be able to eat without the help of added enzymes. ...guess I should sign up for the subscription orders! Thank you NOW foods!

Sometimes I don’t want to go through the trouble of swallowing a pill, so I’ll take these. Love them! My 9 year old son, who has had multiple GI surgeries, loves them as well. Great product!

Taste of these is palatable, at best. Like stale berry flavored Tums. It's a weird flavor. Mildly chalky, but dissolves well enough to not warrant complaints. They work well, which is most important. I eat the regular digestive enzymes by this brand with almost every non-breakfast meal. These are helpful with having lactase in them for when there's dairy, or could be, in the food I'm eating since I'm very lactose intolerant. I wish they had the anti-gas enzyme (Beano) as well, then they'd be about perfect. But they're still great and helpful, especially when traveling and food is sometimes not the most agreeable.

chew a few with meals to help with digestion, works well no taste good product...

My son is almost four but I got these anyway and give him one single tablet because he knows how to chew them and he comes from a long line of people in my family who cannot digest dairy. Ever since he was breastfed dairy destroys him. I kept waiting for him to outgrow the issue but alas he and I just don’t have enough enzymes made from our pancreas to digest dairy (my allergist I see told me). Having a dairy free life as a kid SUCKS. So I first tried Enzymedica KidsDigest blend. Super expensive and made my son constipated.This NOW brand chewable is AMAZING! He can now enjoy cheese or ice cream without terrible diarrhea and eggy farts. He doesn’t get constipated from these!!! AND The price is AWESOME! Better than the $20 I used to spend on that other brand.Thank you NOW company for making these and making them affordable! I take the adult “plant enzymes” and their other supplements and I’m a HUGE fan of this company 👏🏼 They work!

Not sure why, but these taste like literal vomit to me, especially if taken with hot food/drink. It also caused stomach aches when taken on an empty stomach before eating, while waiting on food to finish being made. I can’t say that it helped with digestion, as I threw up after taking these and eating one of the times I took it. The good thing about these though is that no swallowing necessary, which is why I picked these over anything else. The other positive is that it didn’t cause or aggregate my acid reflux, that’s a huge deal to me. It didn’t help with dairy, I still got nausea and diarrhea after 5 bites of dairy pasta, I prefer Lactaid for that still. Overall, since it’s so hard to find chewable supplements for people who can’t take pills, I’d still shop from this brand again, just maybe not this particular product.

Both my daughters take this when they eat a heavy meal or eat something that may be harder to digest like broccoli or beans, etc. and they say it really helps them. I take a much stronger digestive enzyme but I have taken these in an emergency when out of my normal higher dose enzyme, and I must say these are pretty impressive for a chewable broad spectrum enzyme!

We went through many digestive enzymes for my son - expensive and rarely finished containers of capsules, chewables, and powders littered my counter. He struggled to remember to take them on a regular basis, and cringed when I added them to his food. Many times I noticed he didn't finish well liked food when I secretly added them.We were very happy to find these ChewyZymes about a year ago. He has no trouble taking them and they help him very much. We are a long way from where we started, and I believe ChewyZymes tipped the scales for my son's psychological choice to rely on enzymes as a part of his normal routine. His overall attitude and digestion have improved more than I expected, and I'm very grateful NOW brand had found an affordable, good tasting enzyme that is designed for children. Amazon's price is better than my local health food store.
