These are phenomenal!
I travel with a cat and these pads saved my butt(and my cat's) on the last flight I took. My sweet furry monster is usually great about not having accidents. In fact, this was the first time I tried this product because I would usually just use a towel in his carrier. Well thank goodness I ordered these! He had a pee accident mid flight on a four hour trip home. The only reason that I knew he had urinated is because a little pee missed the pad and that area was wet. I'm sure you all know that cat pee is the worst but here's the crazy thing-there was no smell and he was completely dry when we landed!I took him into the restroom to give him a quick wipe down and that was it. The pad was dry to the touch even with a lot of pee( I still threw it away lol) I have the classic black Large Sherpa carrier and the small size inserts fit perfectly. This is a must have for traveling pet parents!

These are super sturdy and absorbant
I bought these for a flight from the US to Germany, my cat did not urinate in the carrier but it was comforting to know that if she did she would be dry. We were able to test out the absorbency almost a year later when we got a kitten who peed on the pads a number of time. The pad soaked it up and it was nice and dry and even odor free. I will buy these again anytime I travel. They also fit perfectly in my carrier and even had a large lip all around the edge that protects the carrier from any spills or messes.

Works as promised, plus helps control odor
This product did exactly as promised. I first used it when driving my cat for 5 hours- she gets carsick and this wicked everything away from the surface so that she wasn’t covered in it and didn’t have to sit in it.My next use was for a 9 hour plane ride with my cat. She rode in the cabin under the seat in front of me, and I was pretty nervous about the potential for malodorous accidents in an environment with recycled air. When my cat urinated during the flight, we didn’t even notice. It wasn’t until we got off the plane and stuck our faces right up next to her carrier and inhaled that the smell was apparent. I took her to a pet relief area in the airport and let her out, and she was perfectly dry. These pads are fairly large with flexibility about the same as cardboard. I knew I wanted to carry a few extras with me on the plane so I folded one in half and it fit easily into my backpack. Even though it left a crease in the pad there was no leakage or moisture on my cat or her carrier.Last but not least I purchased the small size (blue) and it fit perfectly in my SleepyPod carrier in lieu of the furry liner.

Dry in the Sky!
I rarely review anything, but this product deserves praise. Never thought I would be excited about essentially a diaper for cats, but after traveling with my cat across the country on 2 different flights with an almost 4-hour layover, I sure was glad I had this in her carrier.I was very nervous about flying with her as we've never done it before, but she did great- barely any meows from her the entire time. I think a lot of it had to do with her feeling comfortable and dry in her carrier. I stacked 2 pads on top of each other inside the carrier, anticipating that I will need to change one out between flights. Sure enough, she urinated a couple of times and although the pad felt pretty dry, I figured I better change it. All I had to do was pull out the top pad and leave the bottom one in the cage. The cat was dry, clean and content- as was I. And nothing to wash- just toss the used pad. They fit perfectly inside your standard airplane carrier, by the way. At first it looks like they might be too large, but the edges are meant to be folded up. Excellent product and purchase.Just a couple of tips about air travel with pets: their carrier counts as your carry-on luggage (can still have an additional personal item); Delta charged me $125 for her when I checked in; you need to call in advance and basically make a reservation for your pet because they limit the total number of pets per flight/cabin; make sure you buy a carrier that satisfies the dimensions of your specific airline; be ready to hold your pet when walking through TSA screening area- I got a harness and a leash for that reason- no escapee pets!; I bought a couple of collapsible rubber-type dishes to take with me for her food and water; brought a small blanket to cover her cage when it got too noisy around her or too cold from the vents; bought pheromone spray on Amazon that even her vet recommended after I had already purchased it (it's called Feliway); while not all airlines ask for proof of immunizations, yours might- ask when you call them or better yet- just get your pet immunized and bring the certificates with you. Happy and dry travels!

These did God's work
I flew my rescue kitten 13 hours to our new home from Hawaii. It took 3 flights, 2 different airlines, and 13 hours of airtime alone. Connections were so tight there was no time for attempting the travel litterbox. He held his pee until the very last flight and the pads absorbed everything. I had double stacked the pads and if I hadn't been on my final flight, I probably would have been able to just dispose of the top pad and still have the 2nd pad ready to absorb. Kitty slept happily on the pads. The small blue pads fit perfect in the Sherpa Deluxe convertible backpack carrier.

Perfect, pricey fit in our pet carrier
We have a large, soft-sided Sherpa carrier for our large 16 pound cat. He pees in the carrier whenever we take him to the vet. So I bought these to put in the carrier when we take him to/from the vet. Perfect fit. Absorbs all the urine. I'd give them five stars if they weren't so expensive!

Helpful for long trips
I stick two of these in my cat carrier and remove the top one as it gets used. I can quickly change it out to keep my pet clean and minimize odors. It also saves me from needing to wash my carrier as frequently.

Cats appreciate these pads for travel.
Second time we have purchased for a airplane trip. These pads fit perfectly in the cat carrier. They are expensive but I have not found a cheaper version. They are durable and leak resistant. The cats appreciate the pads too.
