It works! After having tried many, many jar openers over the years, this is the one that works, and works well. To start, it is well-made, very sturdy. It is easy to use, both to attach the opener and then turn it. A big advantage of this design is its two-step process. First tighten the opener on the lid. It's easy to do, with almost no strain. Once tightened, it stays tightened. The second step is to twist the opener. It does help to have a non-stick pad (such as jar gripper pad) to put under the jar. I was surprised at how easy it was to open my un-openable jar. Most openers are one step: you grip the lid and twist at the same time. It's awkward and difficult to do well. The two-step design eliminates that, and all of a sudden the whole process is simple. The design is particularly useful for large jar lids. My jar had a 3.4" lid, which was very hard to get a good grip on. This opener was easy to put on, and then easy to turn. Highly recommended.

My husband and I are in our 70s and find it harder to open jars. This is the only jar opener I've found that works! It has opened every jar I've tried it on--small and large lids. So easy to use! Wish I had bought it sooner.

We are super happy with this opener. It is really well designed and very easy to use. It has worked the first time on every jar we've used it on. We've tried a few other openers over the years, including an expensive battery operated one that broke after only a few uses, but none came close to this one. Great value to boot.

Of the six or so I have owned or tried this seems to be the easiest to use. Not sure how long it will last since it is almost all plastic. The only immediate issue is that when you tighten the teeth onto the jar lid----to little pressure and the item spins freelsy and ---to much pressure the lid digs into the glass and this makes turning even harder. There is a sweet spot that you have to find to make this work to the MAX.

We've tried quite a few jar and bottle openers, none of which worked well. THIS one is MUCH better than others. The only downside is it's bulky so storing it in a drawer can be a problem. But it's worth the hassle. this one has fit 100% of the jars and bottles we've tried it on and easy to help those arthritic fingers get into the stuff you want.

Great opener. It grips really well, locks in place (without slipping off like my old metal one does) and the handle makes it very easy to turn the lid. I've tried it on wide lids and narrow ones like soda, soy sauce and syrup. Just what I needed.

The design has metal teeth that is a little rough on the jar lid depending on how tight it is. But it works great

Einzigstes Problem: man muss mit der anderen Hand das Konservenglas festhalten - das geht leichter, wenn zum Beispiel ein feuchtes Tuch zur Hilfe genommen wird... Also - Produkt gut!
