I very seldom leave a supplement review, so take that for what it's worth. I have a 4 year old Trakehner who can be very sharp and easily distracted. I added this product at one scoop every morning, and that's it. Does it prevent him from ever spooking? No. Is he still doing huge, outrageous, acrobatic spooks? Also no. This is not a replacement for consistent, considerate training, but it does noticeably take the "edge" off. It doesn't make him lethargic, lazy, etc. It just makes him a little bit more focused and less tense/reactive to outside stimuli. Overall, I think it's a very good, safe, and effective product to AUGMENT good training.

About eight months ago, I purchased a feral 6-7yr old Arabian mare. From day one, it was clear she was incredibly reactive and fearful. Even after months of consistent handling, training, and patience, she remained on high alert. This mare would spook at things she had seen hundreds of times. If she felt cornered, she would jump fences didn’t matter if it hurt her or not. If the leaves of a tree moved too much, she'd bolt and drag you with her. This Mare has hurt herself more than once trying to get away from things that aren’t new. Getting her feet done required dorm gel, and even then, she'd sometimes run over you or try to fall over on you out of fear of being touched. She was not a horse you could simply walk up to and halter or pet. Catching her meant getting her into a round pen and spending 5–10 minutes just earning her trust enough to approach. She’s extremely sensitive, not food-motivated, and everything has always taken an enormous amount of time and effort. I tried everything to help her adjust to domestic life, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference, until this product. Within a week, I noticed a remarkable change. She became noticeably calmer and more approachable. For the first time, I could pet her without needing to corner or catch her. Her overall demeanor has improved dramatically. She no longer feels like she’s in constant fight-or-flight mode. She actually comes up to eat and doesn’t run away at the slightest movement. I got to the point where I thought that this Mare‘s only option was to be a sold or given to someone to be a pasture ornament. And that has completely changed. This mare was ulcer-prone and struggled to gain weight, even after being treated. Her nerves were simply too much. But this product has truly made her life, and mine ten times easier. I was skeptical at first, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. One small downside: she’s very picky and sometimes hesitant to eat it, so I mix it with her regular grain to make sure she finishes it. But considering the results, that’s a small price to pay. If you're dealing with a nervous, high-strung horse, I can’t recommend this enough. I tried to add a video of how she used to react and then how I went up to her and pet her in the field with no problem, but Amazon was having issues or something. So I just added a picture for tax.

Our mares have great coats, calmness and overall this product works great.

I was skeptical at first, but very happy with results. My 11year old mare had gotten buddy sour over the years, and nervous trailering. This project has made her more relaxed while standing in cross ties, and while riding. She used poop at least 4 times in the cross ties. While using this product she doesn’t even stress poop on cross ties anymore. She doesn’t even whinny to other horses when ridden. I haven’t trailered her yet since using the product. Does take about 2 weeks to start working. She is not dull or lethargic.

This is the best formula I’ve used. I feed it continually so it is in my horses system at the proper level. He is not a high anxiety horse, but he travels thousands of miles in a year in the western states on the APHA show circuit. He also gets the digestive formula along with it. I use both just to help maintain a healthy balance for him. In pellet form it is easy to travel with and my horse looks forward to it, he thinks it is a goodie and eats it right up.

Well, I bought this for my 2 year old horse. I’ve used other calming supplements in the past but could not find the brand I used before so I tried this one since the ingredients were similar to my previous supplement and reviews looked good. After feeding daily for a few weeks, all seemed good. My horse ate it right up and I did see her somewhat calmer but not a huge difference. Then one day I spilled a bit…my dog (who normally eats literally anything I feed to my horses, including grain & hay) completely ignored it. I’m sorry but I trust my dog. I will not purchase this product again.

This product make a big difference for my quarter horse. He had been through a lot of different trainers and different owners before I got him, started him on this and helped get him to be able to relax. He has been on it for 2 years. I wondered if it was still working after year 1 so I stopped giving to him for a couple months and put him back on it.
