These are fantastic when it’s icy.I have used them on hikes in the Peak District when there has been black ice and dangerous ice on rocks and paths. While the others were struggling and sliding everywhere, I felt perfectly safe as if I wasn’t walking on ice at all. You don’t need to take them off on normal road/paths either, so you can just put them in at the beginning and take them off at the end. Ten quid is definitely well spent if you avoid a broken wrist/ankle/arm etc.

These were great at start, good grip on the snow/ice, then fell apart at the front!

These are a brilliant necessity when the pavement or ground are frozen and you have to get out. No more fear of slipping, plus they are discreet and hold well under my walking shoes. I use them to walk the dog on icy mornings and they really work. Very affordable too.
