Let me tell you that these ramps are super light and real sturdy
Just used them for the first time to do an oil change on my wife's car. Let me tell you that these ramps are super light and real sturdy. When I drove up on them, the front lip lets you know you're at the end. Much better than my old heavy duty metal set from the 60's! The price does hurt a little bit, but I'll get that back over time by doing my own small automotive maintenance. A very sturdy, well put together product.

A little pricey, but if you work on your car at all the convenience is great!
Well what can I say. These are expensive, foam ramps, but they perform exactly as advertised. They are extremely lightweight, and the two piece design allows them to be stored pretty easily in not too much space. The two piece design also allows me to get under the car from the side and access spots not otherwise possible to access if the ramps were in one big piece. The ramps are sturdy and I've used them a bunch for cleaning the underside of the car, tightening suspension parts, oil changes, exhaust work, anything and everything that doesn't require the car to be lifted more than about 10" off the ground. These also stay put and don't shoot out from underneath your car like some of the cheap ramps you might get at your local auto parts retail store. My car is lowered and even though some floor jacks don't clear, I have no trouble driving up the Race Ramps. I've had friends use these ramps to make space for a floor jack to get the car up. The convenience makes these ramps worth every penny. I can't count how many times I've used these. I even have friends asking me to borrow them after they see how easy these are to use. Just make sure you line them up straight before you drive up the ramps.

Nice sturdy feel, very light and compact
The box which the ramps came in looked massive (approx. 4ft long). After unpacking the ramps, these came in two pieces for each side which interlocked, felt very light with a nice sturdy textured coating. The size of the large box looked very deceiving, but when stacked on each other side by side the ramps compacted and stowed away nicely under the table. So far I'm very happy with the size, weight and feel of the ramps and will update when the weather is better to enable me to try these out.

Pricey But A Good Investment
Really solid ramps. They're pretty light weight too so moving them around is easy. Very pricey but worth it if you frequently do maintenance on your car especially oil changes where the time it takes to raise your car up (versus a jack and jack stands) is cut in half.

It was useful to remove half the ramp to gain more access
Bought these to service a Lotus Elise. Worked perfectly. I've only backed the car onto them, so I don't have experience driving forward onto them with a low profile car. They didn't budge while I was backing onto them - my wife spotted for me - so no problems such as half a tire hanging off. It was useful to remove half the ramp to gain more access. However, if I had to do more than just change oil, then I would probably need more clearance, but at least this gets me access to take off the under tray so I can do more jacking if needed. It is true that they suggest they not be stored in the sun or a trunk due to temperature - I'm not sure why one would - I put them in the attic.I was surprised how light, yet sturdy they are, so you could hang them from the handle on the wall, but the removable ramp piece would fall, so not really an option.I don't see that they are only for high performance cars. I plan to service my daily drivers on them as well.
