Yes, the product description does say 3.5 inches tall. But then for the value it does seem like a disappointment considering that other models in the same legacy range are much larger for similar prices.Otherwise it is still a classic transformer that changes form in eight elegant steps, although the car bonnet and windscreen is tucked away in his calves in humanoid mode, which can be rather flimsy, with the expectation that it might be damaged later through rough play.Edit: after only a couple of months of play, the legs have been fine, but it was actually the arms that have fallen off. The ball sockets of the joints wore down to the state that they no longer securely fit either at the shoulder or the elbows, making the whole thing limp and useless. I get the sense that this should have been foreseen at the toy design stage as there has been a clear degradation over time as they were quite secure at the beginning, but are now obviously not appropriate for regular movement.

I've found that these transformers are a minefield of different shapes and sizes as I try and get them for my son.It's often hard to work out how big they and I got caught out by this one (my fault as it clearly states 3.5 inches).It's a real shame as it's a great looking figure but just way too small.

Possibly the cheapest and worst toy I have ever had the misfortune of buying.Terribly small and of low quality. Don’t buy.

Bought for my autistic son after is unexpected operation very disappointed in this product it's tiny and not worth the money charged for this item
