Main thing is that they do not compress at the ankles. They are all loose enough but they do not fall down either. They are wonderfully comfortable, keep the toes nice and warm. Love the colours - nice and bright. Out of 4 pairs, the only ones that constrict are the lilac ones. I have tried washing them but still tight. On inspection, they seem to be differently woven to the other three. They all wash well. Colour does not run either. Will definitely buy again.

These socks are excellent! They are very stretchy, very soft and an amazing price. Heartedly recommend them and I’m just going to order some more .

Love these cosy socks - no more tightness around my ankles! They are nice and soft and just the right stretch around my ankles. I purchased the black ones and am very pleased with them. They washed well so far. I have since reordered them so I now have 8 pairs of warm cosy socks.

So pleased with the socks. I am not diabetic but have just had a procedure on my foot/toes and needed something to protect the wound now the dressing etc is off

In the summer due to the heat my feet tend to swell a bit. My usually socks were leaving nasty indents in my ankles so decided to try these. The are soft and stretchy. However they do still leave a slight indent but nowhere near as much as my other socks. I also found that wearing these with certain shoes, in my case Converse, my feet slipped about a lot more than usual and gave me a blister on the bottom of my foot due to the friction. They don't do this with all my shoes however. They also come up a lot higher on the ankle than the photo makes out.

I must have bought five or six packs of these socks in different colours. They are very comfortable, wash well, do not put any pressure on the skin, and they stay on.

I don't have diabetes, I just don't like tight socks that leave a deep imprint around my ankle/lower leg when I take them off. I wouldn't say the tops are completely loose (I suppose they'd fall down if they weren't a bit tight) but they definitely don't leave as deep an imprint as the socks I've been using previously. They are light and comfortable which makes them really nice to wear. Good price too for the quality, and there's a nice range of colours to choose from
