This seemed to be a pretty neat little blacklight. Although it is small, it is actually quite bright and lit up my blacklight posters very well along with my bed and other things all across my bedroom. Also loved how it had two different brightness settings. However, after a short 2 weeks or so of using it, it all of a sudden has started flashing or "strobing" whenever I turn it on and I have no idea why, or how to get it to stop. Completely defeats the purpose of the light and it is now useless. Kinda sucks, I have to get another one now.**Update: After this review, the seller promptly contacted me and sent a replacement out to me immediately for no additional cost. The new light works perfectly!

This light is really neat. The light strip is unique to me. This isn't the brightest light but it served the purpose that I wanted. I just wanted to light a small area. I would order this again if I needed too.

I actually got this to to a "photo shoot" of Glow-in-the-Dark Jell-O Shots, LOL, after the incandescent (regular, screw-in type) black light bulbs we bought locally didn't work at all. This works Great! Note: in order for Jell-O Shots to glow under black lighting, you have to make them with Tonic Water- preferably all Tonic Water. Tonic Water is what glows... :-)

It’s a lot of blacklight for the cost. However, in my art of blacklight body painting, I find led blacklights too intensely bright for the eyes. I prefer fluorescent blacklights.

The toggle switch broke after two uses. The sheet metal used for the back was cut with tinsnips and had a sharp ragged edge.I suppose this would have otherwise been good if they had better quality control.

I bought these lights to use on a portable preaching stand I use for sketch evangelism to share the Gospel of Christ. I needed a black light solution that was portable, as this works well when painting with fluorescent paints at night. I first used them on the boardwalk one evening at a beach and boy were they bright! They made all the colors pop! I actually purchased 2 of them to use knowing I needed to cover about a 4 ft wide x 3 ft tall painting area.The other fantastic thing about this product is the power source options. Yes, it comes with a plug, but if you notice the cord terminates as a USB plug. Rather than carrying a heavy, small battery with me, I can run the lights off a 22,000 mHa RAV power phone charger! Super portable and light weight! If you have an application that needs portable black lighting with a simple power solution, THIS IS IT! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Looks great in my mini bar to light up my liquors. I would have given 5 stars but I had to get 'under cabinet' light also for the drinking glass section of my mini bar. The on/off button is on a thin cord which is easier for me to hide it. And the ac cord is the normal size.
