I want to like this, but might not be for me. EDIT: happy with purchase
I only just received the product today and as I was unscrewing the faceplate to replace the money clip with the slimmer cash strap I noticed two of the screws were stuck. The others were easy to remove so this was an assembly issue. I chose to request a replacement instead of stripping the screws and doing any damage. As I went over the wallet and compared it to my trusty and larger leather wallet, I saw pros and cons to each. This is a front pocket wallet IMO, as it is too hard and I'm certain it will cause hot spots and tear the back pocket over time. But, I don't mind carrying this in my front pocket (opposite pocket of my phone as it will cause scratches). This will also carry with my car keys, which may or may not be an issue for me over time and the keys will likely scratch this wallet up. I may choose to go back to my leather wallet just so I can distribute my EDC gear around and move the wallet back to the rear pocket to avoid clutter. This is going to be a non-issue for some of course, but something to think about as it isn't super cheap. The design is great and I really like how the cards feel relatively secure in the wallet. I think you could toss this around and not have the contents fall out unless of course, you threw this into a hard surface like a wall, then I could see everything falling out. I think the same would happen with my leather wallet but I'm making the point as I'm sure some are going to wonder how secure it is.I also think I prefer this design with the straps on the long side with a notch at the bottom of the short side to push out the cards of the opposite short side. When you pinch the bottom to open up the top and fan the cards, you can more easily select a card. The Ridge and a few others have the cards come out on the long side and I'm not sure it would be as easy to fan the cards to select what you want. It seems you would have to remove all the cards and that would bother me over time. But that design looks more sturdy and snug. Something to consider.I love the reduction in size with this wallet, but I am losing the soft, contouring leather of my old wallet for this hard stack of cards. It almost feels like I fell for a pretty fad that just isn't worth it but I'll give it a few weeks to try it out.EDIT: I've used this wallet for several weeks and I can say I now like it a lot. It's great in the front pocket but it works fine in the back pocket, and I don't have hot spots that are digging into the fabric as I was concerned about. I also tossed my wallet around to see if the cards would fly out. Basically, I tossed it across my apartment along the carpeted floor like I was trying to skip a stone across water. It went about 20ft and only the bills looked like maybe they would pop out if I threw it a bit harder. My billfold leather wallet would have not held the cards but that may be a design issue. In the end, I have taken to the smaller size and I do not have trouble accessing cards. I do prefer how a wallet is more discreet with your cash though. I do miss being able to count cash in my wallet before pulling out bills. Now I have to remove all the bills from the strap, unfold and remove, and then tuck them back in.

Great wallet and very secure
I was worried about whether my cards would fly out when I use this but it is SO SECURE. WAY MORE SECURE than my old ekster, though I do miss the leather feel of the ekster wallet. It’s easy to push the cards in and out. It’s super worth it. I think it fits like at least 10-15 cards (including those thin medical insurance cards).

Great Alternative to a Bulky Wallet
First off..incredible presentation! It arrived in a nice display case/box. Everything nicely sorted in foam. Came with lots of extras - extra top plates, extra money/tension bands, a small precision screwdriver to change the top plates with...and not some cheap littler plastic screwdriver either, but a decent one. The whole presentation felt much more expensive than it was. Kudos to the person who designed that! I mean, the wallet itself looks and feels great, but the box it came in is just as quality.PROS: Very compact and light, but solid construction. The cutout on one end really helps you push the cards out, making it easy to 'fan' them open so you can easily grab the one you need. Even with the 15 cards I carry, you barely notice this is in your pocket. Appearance is very slick, very modern.CONS: Only con I have is that there's nothing on each end to contain your cards. Tho this hasn't really been an issue as the pressure between the two plates does the job well enough. I tried another minimal wallet that had paracord on all four sides, but it ended up being almost as thick as my old leather wallet and it took me a long time to retrieve the card I was looking for...so I went to the Fidelo. All in all, a great alternative to a thick leather wallet. Takes a little getting used to, but once you do you'll love it.

Slim, holds cards well, looks nice.
Great for credit/debit cards or ID cards. It is too tight to hold paper business cards or even cash but for its simplicity and looks its great.I would describe it more of a card holder than a wallet. Can have trouble slipping cards back in so youll have to put the card in between two cards already in the card holder, making OCD and organizing hard.I have about 5 to 6 cards in it now and it works great. I use the finger slot to pop my cards out and fan it like a hand of playing cards to locate the one I need and do the same to return it back to the wallet. Unfortunately the end cards are difficult to slide back and forth like mentioned above.Still a great sleek, durable, and beautiful card holder.

Forget The Ridge
A friend of mine owns "The Ridge" and (as you may know) it costs 5x's as much as the FIDELO. First impression, the FIDELO is superior because of it's portrait design. I can easily get all the cards I need without having to fan-out and pick through my cards. Seriously, forget The Ridge. This one costs much less and works better than any slim wallet I've ever used. The finish on the aluminium plates is gorgeous and I have yet to scratch it with daily use (although, I think it would look great either way). Even after 5 months of use, the bands feel like-new and show no sign of fraying, and the FIDELO comes with a spare in the box (unlike the aforementioned).I can honestly say (besides titanium or steel outer-plates which is really just a gimmick) the quality feels equal to The Ridge, and the design feels unique enough, and works better, than that of The Ridge. The FIDELO does not feel like a knock-off, but rather, a unique product.Seriously, get one (or five).
