I have been using the salt crystal deodorant that comes in a plastic twist-up tube for many years. I'm so glad to find one that uses the same salt crystal, in the same format (long rounded bullet shape, easy to apply to pits, as opposed to some that are square blocks), and with a non-plastic holder. You can use the salt without a holder, but it's just nicer with one. The cork holder fits the salt crystal perfectly, it's easy to insert and remove to replace, and the cork feels warm and nice in the hand, like a luxury product. And the salt crystal itself lasts forever---while I just bought this one, I've gotten 2+ years of use out of a single crystal of the same shape/size in other brands. So I expect this will last a long time too. Luxury feel + it works + extreme low cost due to longevity = the perfect deodorant. Also if you did not know, if you ever want to get rid of the cork holder, cork is recyclable! Take it to your local beer/wine store (like Total Wine) and look for a cork recycling station, often a tall box near the entrance. I think the used corks get shipped off and turned into shoe materials. Great to be able to buy a product that has a chance at not just going into a landfill!

100% works for me, no mess, lasts a very long time. No odor at all, no residue or stains, lasts all day - even 24 hours! I love that there is no plastic casing - just cork! Great for the environment and me.

These crystal deodorants do work (best if applied when still damp from shower) and I do not regret buying this product because I already know I like this type of deodorant, and it will get used. My only complaint about the BioRock one is that it is $14 for only a 4.5oz rock. It seems like most of the cost is going towards the cork packaging, which is unfortunately not as good as I'd hoped. I like that the cork is eco friendly and not plastic, but it is very loose, flimsy, and the crystal slips out of it. It makes more sense to just buy an already loose crystal deodorant, which I can get for $6 from a local business. I will probably end up only using the cork packaging as a travel case for my crystal deodorant, and I hope that it will hold up to that. That being said, I would still recommend this product as the deodorant itself is affective. Also, to anyone who may be confused about it, this product DOES contain aluminum, it is not aluminum free as some people seem to think. It is literally pure potassium alum, which is aluminum, so keep this in mind when purchasing it. I like this type of deodorant for several reasons (solid, long lasting, minimal waste, it works), but it being aluminum free is not one of them.

I bought mine 18 mos ago and have only used about half of it so far. I had never tried this type of product before and was very skeptical but, to my amazement, it really works. I live in California where the temps can be brutal in the summer. there is no odor whatsoever. I love the fact that it's natural and there's no plastic. I will never go back to regular deodorant again!

I'm amazed at this... even the packaging is great. It's got a good, clean, "barely-there" scent, doesn't bother my skin, and (nice surprise) doesn't stain my shirts either. For years my go-to deodorant was Mitchum Unscented (which is a clear gel), but this Biorock has now won first place. The Biorock is at least as compact, has no plastic in the casing (instead, just a really cool, simple cork capsule), is solid (so probably isn't going to freak out the TSA), and it doesn't build up in my shirt fibers over time the way gel deodorants do. It's not perfect -- Mitchum goes on faster when dry (moist, clean skin is better for the Biorock) and Mitchum lasts 48-hours (need to use the Biorock daily), but these small downsides are far outweighed by all the advantages above. Plus, even though I'm no longer throwing away shirts just because the gel sticks to them forever nor polluting the environment with giant chunks of hollow plastic, I still smell good.

I have no idea where are all these good reviews are coming from. I was looking for a natural deodorant and loved that this had eco-friendly packaging. However this stuff DOES NOT WORK! I showered, put it on and within an hour or two of just hanging around my house I stank. I tried it for days and it didn't work. I smelled so bad. And then I got an allergic reaction to it with red bumps and itching in my armpits. I just threw $15 in the trash. What a waste. The $5 Tom's deodorant works much better. Don't be fooled by this.

Didn't work for me. I lathered and lathered for a week and wore it down quite a bit. Back to prescription deodorant. I hate how everyone says "you're doing it wrong!" But there's SO many things you have to keep in mind for ....something like deodorant! So, to recap, here's the advice I HAD to follow: Only use it RIGHT AFTER a shower. If you happen to accidentally dry too fast, you must wet your pits in the sink which is very messy and uncomfortable. You cannot top off for this reason. You must cover so much of your bit, well into your arm/breast/back/ribs. You're forming a protective "layer" I still sweat a lot, it's not meant to control sweating. Not into it, don't reccomended, I tossed it after it sat half-emptied die months.

I will buy it again but looks like it will last another year. Worked through the summer and now starting it's second winter. Zero plastic, zero fragrance, zero perspiration.

Modern dünyada en çok yanlış bilinen ürün deodorant'tır! Modern deodorantları kullanmamanızı dilerim. Bakın bu ürün doğru bir üründür. Çünkü bu aslında bildiğiniz tuz'dur. Tuz kokmamak içindir, terlemeyi kesmek için değildir! Ter dokusu kesilirse sağlık problemi başlar. Koltu altı cildi çok hassastır. Tuz aynı zamanda bir mineral takviyedir. Hatta ürün üzerinde okuduğunuzda görürsünüz ki çıplak ayak altına da sürebilirsiniz diyor. Mantık aynı kokuyu önlemek. Kültürümüzde vardır "tuzlamak". Bebekleri tuzlarlar. İnsanın terlemesi kadar doğal bir şey yok. Üstelik bu ürün size rahat 1 sene gider. Yani ekonomik bile. Özetlediğim basit bir tıp bilgisidir. Lütfen araştırın, doğrulayın.
