Item didn't match the photo, but was actually better!!
Item received is apparently an updated model from the one shown in the picture. The one I received has a different mounting bracket that is actually much better than the one shown as it doesn't have the bend in it. By keeping the bracket straight, it allows easier access to the mounting bolts/screws. I had to use a small hand wrench to remove the old one, but I used a socket with an extension to install the new one. EASY!Also, the solenoid is a different color, and appears to be an updated model. In any event, it worked like a charm.

Works great
Appears to be of good quality, easy to install and it resolved my leaky ice cube machine problem. Seems a little expensive for what it is, but it was cheaper through Amazon than through an RV store.

NOT as pictured. Different numbers on product tag.
Does not match OEM pictured. The number on the tag is 64090"4" not "8". also has "K-79449"? Orientation is not OEM and will not line up with current inlet and outlet and wiring. Outlet is compression fitting, not OEM screw on.

This valve is not a 640908 and does not match what's pictured. The valve is 640904. Orientation is not exactly the same and will not line up with current wiring. Luckily my fridge had a little extra wire length so i could make it work. Water outlet is quick connect fitting not screw on so you have to modify the water line.

This valve saved me from buying a new ice machine.
The local distributor said parts were no longer available for my ice machine. I installed this valve which was an exact replacement and the ice machine works like new. It was easy to install and was shipped promptly.

Works good; easy to install
I had to replace the old one because it was stripped out from taking the hose on and off for winterization. Was easy to replace...this was the cheapest one I found at the time and for sure a lot cheaper than having a service center do it.
