Q: What is the melting temperature?

Our Household 100% Paraffin Wax is a mid-melt wax @132 - 136 F .

Q: Will this work to make silicone molded candles?

Yes. It will work. If you pour cold into the mold, lets say around 150 to 160 F you will achieve a rustic look to it. If you pour hotter like 175 F, finish will be bit smoother and more transparent, and if you like a really smooth silky finish pour hot and add 1% Vybar which is an additive for pillar candle making. (99% paraffin and 1% Vybar) , thanks

Q: Can I use this for making dipped tapers?

Yes it will work , however to get a nicer finish Taper Candle, add 5% stearic acid and 1% Polyboost or Vybar . This will give you a more ideal wax blend, that works fantastic in pillars and Tapers.
