Do these break easily? I mean 50 bucks is a lot of money for some plastic that might break on the first uses. Is it guaranteed?

I've used mine a half dozen times already and it's held up. It's a far better strainer than the bag strainer that came with the machine when I purchased it. I wished they made a pitcher to work with it tho. It fits a quart canning jar perfectly, but that's only a 4 cup vessel and I usually make a max level batch which is five cups. I haven't had to test any guarantee, but I've had it for a couple years now.

I left Home with an herb still inside the strainer. It molded bad! How can I get it out of the bottom of the strainer? My hand doesn't fit in.

I have always cleaned up right after using; however, I would recommend soaking in hot soapy water for a while, then use the supplied brush to scrub it. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Using some bleach in the water may also help. I would not use a sharp instrument as it might damage the metal.

Can this filter unheated honey with herbs?

So you are asking about solid honey? Liquid honey? I would not put honey in this, unless it is warmed up a bit, then I would say it's risky. I would call the company and ask this question.

I guess it would work if you grind up olives first. This is very fine mesh screen and I use it for loose leaf stuff and it works great.
