A great read...
It's rare when we get to see the insights and finished product of a screenplay as read and portrayed by brilliant actors and actresses. If you have not seen the movie, read this first and then watch as the words jump off the pages and into life. If you have already seen the movie, I would encourage you to read this magical work of art that includes true script formatting and illustrations, you may just want to see the movie again.

Don't expect descriptions to set scenes etc .
Don't expect a regular book. For me it spread up my reading. J K Rowling is a very gifted writer. I could read this series very quickly.

Calling all Harry Potter Fans!
First of all this book is beautiful. It is a screenplay but there is so much information in the book as well as drawings used to create the characters, newspapers, actors comments, etc. Would recommend this book for anyone that is absorbed in the Harry Potter world!

Great book!
First of all, I'm a big fan of JK Rowling. I can't remember any of her books I haven't liked, although some could be disturbing at times. Not all of them are "kids' books".I saw the movie based on this screen play when it first came out, and bought the DVD when it was available. However, I have a partial hearing loss that's only partially correctible, so I lose quite a bit of the dialogue. This book corrected that problem. I found myself picking up stuff I initially missed in watching the movie and video. From that standpoint alone, the book was very helpful. However, the various sketches (e.g., of costumes and sets) and templates for newspapers were very interesting, as were the quotes by people associated with the production.OBTW, I ordered two copies of this book without seeing it ahead of time. The other one went to my local public library. (I checked beforehand to be sure they wanted it.)

Great movie. Sad people made it political.
The movie was great. I was totally looking forward to finally seeing Dumbledore v. Grindelwald, but then the movie company got political and canceled Depp over a liar, which led to some people not watching it. Then others decided to boycott over Rowling making a political statement. Sorry, don't care about the politics. I like the story. That doesn't make me anything but a person that enjoys a good story.
