Well built and works great
I now have 2 senville units, the 24000 btu aura and this 9000 btu model. The 24000 I've had for a couple of years and it's worked amazingly well. Performs great even at temps below 0 degrees and cools effortlessly even with temps around 100 degrees. This unit seems no different so far and after switching to these from my old ac my electric bill is significantly less. Both units have really solid build quality and hopefully last a long time. These come packaged well on a pallet and installation isn't too difficult although it helps to have a background in mechanical and electrical work as well as being hvac certified. Installation took about 5 to 6 hours and that includes vacuuming the lines out and checking for leaks. These are also incredibly quiet for how well the perform. All in all I'm very satisfied so far with these units and would buy more if I needed to.

Great AC Unit at a great price
Easy to install. Works well and is power efficient. Be sure to size the unit appropriately for the room size.

Very happy with the purchase
My son installed this today. It was the first one he had done. He found the instructions easy to follow. The unit works great. I got the 9000 BTU unit for a small 3 season room that is now year round. Very happy with this purchase.

No a very good value, kind of disappointed
This is a good mini split but there is some things that you need to know before you buy it: Needs to be installed by a licensed tech or contractor,if you do it yourself there is no warranty, zero warranty This just a midea re-branded mini split The wifi connection keeps going off and it’s not very intuitive to connect it back up so I just use the remote control

Senville suport is excellent
This is the third Senville I have purchased and all have worked flawlessly. My last order was damaged by the shipper and I called Senville Support to report that I had rejected the delivery (looked like the shipper ran a forklift into the outside condensor). Senville Support shipped a new unit the next day. Their support line answers the call within a few rings which is impressive.

Called many times
I have yet to get the unit to work, paid to have an hvac guy start it up and nothing, have called several times to customer service and nothing, even had the hvac guy call and nothing.... have no idea what to do next

Just installed, crummy lineset, poor indoor panel fit, weak manual
I purchased SENA-09HF Aura unit on Ebay direct from Senville (same as this listing). The 16 ft line set supplied by Senville IMO had significant problems! One end of the electrical cable had incorrect terminals for connection - looked like inserts for a connector and needed spade lugs (one end was correct). The flare nuts on both 1/4" and 3/8" lines were NEITHER METRIC NOR SAE wrench size (WHAT??) -- so torqueing to correct spec was a pain. The bottom front panel of indoor unit (which MUST be removed for wiring access) is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to re-install correctly, NUMEROUS slide tabs must be engaged simultaneously I spend over 1/2 hour cursing the dang thing and finally decided "good enough" with the center bottom tabs not properly engaged. The installation manual is very poor for a "high end" unit - which is what I was hoping for by purchasing this brand. Overall impression very disappointed and not much different than the far cheaper import brand I purchased previously.

I bought the aura model because of the higher seer rating and because it will provide heat down to -30. So far I couldn’t be happier, it’s doing everything is supposed to do, it’s keeping my workshop nice and warm. November was a reasonably warm month where I’m located so it’s perhaps not the best test but my electric bill was only about $20 higher than normal with this unit keeping my 16 x 20‘ workshop at 60°. Temperature dipped down to 12° below during that time. It had no trouble at all. The only negative I have is that it doesn’t seem possible to set the temperature at less than 60° because it’s a workshop and sometimes I don’t go out there for two or three days I would like the ability to turn it down to somewhere around 45°. I specifically bought this model with Alexa so that I could control the shop from the house. I thought I’d be able to turn it down and then turn it up before I went out there. But as long as the electric bill doesn’t increase $40 a month I guess it really doesn’t matter . I’m really pleased with the Seville brand the first one I bought has been working flawlessly for six years. Both came extremely well packaged with very clear instructions, installation was a breeze. I was able to do everything myself as in the actual start up, I got a HVAC technician to do the start up for warranty purposes. He only charged me $160. And commented that the unit seem to be extremely well-built.

First it was easy to install if you've done this kind of thing before. You'll need a vacuum pump with gauges and a set of hoses, plus a shraeder adapter to connect the hose to the minisplit. You'll also want some pump oil for the pump. Everything else you need for a basic install is included in this kit outside of tools to drive bolts, drill holes, etc. Performance is incredible. 210sqft shop from 28 C down to 22.5 in 10-15 minutes. Make sure your space is insulated and this won't have to run very long at all to maintain temps. i was worried about the possible noise from the fan and compressor outside, but honestly, it's dead quiet. You have to put your head right up close to the unit to hear it running. There's just comparison to the super loud traditional fan units of central AC. This is far and away the best shop upgrade I have ever made, and in the dead of winter or the sweltering summer, it's the most valuable tool in the place. Without it, the space wouldn't be usable most of the year.

Extremely happy! I wont go into details here....T his is our 10th or so one bought over the past few years for our houses... all Senville units.... but well worth the money, performance is top notch paired with the Mysa thermostats for heat pumps (You wont go wrong!)

Giving it a 5 star as of now I can only wait till it gets to -30 to know for sure if it works

Terrible after sales service. I needed a very simple replacement part at installation . An electrical terminal block for the indoor unit. I received two wrong replacement parts not even close to the part needed. It's now been a week from my last three emails and haven't even received a response. Emailed tech directly too, Nothing. Terrible service. Oh and it DOES NOT even heat a newly built 6x6 stud workshop with only 250sqf.
