The thickness is comparable to hair, and is a high quality product that has a good amount of stretch for preventing line snaps. It prevents me from losing fish in that regard, but also is lightweight enough that I don’t have trouble breaking the line if I get snagged. Couldn’t be more happy with the product. It has the perfect flexibility for finesse presentations as well as remarkable abrasion resistance for what class it’s in. I probably should be using a heavier stiffer gauge line but XL does the trick every time.
