Better set than the TOOB: The Land Down Under set
I bought two sets of small Australian animals and want share the comparison. The two I bought are: Wild Republic Australia Toy Figures (WRA) and TOOB: The Land Down Under. Personally, I like the WRA ones better. They have more painted details (eyes, mouths, etc.), are slightly bigger, and the snakes are awesome. In comparison, the TOOB snake is so skinny that it feels very cheap. Also, my grandson loves snakes so having three (in WRA) is terrific. Both sets are made of the same hard plastic. I bought TOOB because I wanted the cockatoo and it is a good cockatoo—except it doesn’t stand up the way the emu does. Also the WRA set arrived about a week sooner.

Great for pretend play
My 5 year old daughter loves playing with these little animals. They end up in all sorts of pretend play. If you are looking for these for a diorama then know that the size comparisons to each other aren’t accurate. For instance the Tasmanian Devil is about the same size as the Kangaroo and the Koala is bigger then both of them. The positive is that they are very realistic and they are a good quality.

Great sets of animals
We have 4 sets of these animals for our grandson. The detail is great and they stand up well. I wish it had come with a guide listing the animals but we figured out what they were. Highly recommend

No Kangaroo :(
The quality is ok, but I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a kangaroo and there's no kangaroo. There's a wallaby, which does look like a little kangaroo. I guess the kiddos can't really tell the difference, but still disappointing.

Realistic looking animals
These items are of great detail, and are sized just right to take outside to stage photos or for general play. My niece’s love the detail they bring to the books I make using stages photos with these animals.

En general bien, sin embargo en algunos animales les hace falta más calidad y el color no creo se asemeje al real. Adicional, sobre todos los animales polares son más grandes a diferencia de los otros.

Purchased as educational toys so it is very disappointing to have their sizes so way off. The koala and platypus are bigger than the emu, dingo, Tasmanian devil and kangaroo. And the snakes are like anacondas compared to all the other creatures. For the price I expected better.

Aussie themed, wild republic, figurines, beautifully detailed highly recommend for early learning and sensory play and open and play, can be used in water, figurines don’t have any holes. Slightly on the heavier side.
