What can I say?Contains is a very good brand of tomatoes. Not as watery like other brands of tomato sauce & has a a rich tomato flavor. It's a better quality brand. The proof is in the flavor. Really good price & well worth it. Great value!

The best base for a fabulous cream of tomato-pesto soup!
Tomato soup that can't be beat starts with Contadina Tomato Paste with Italian Herbs. Add water, a few generous splashes of Marsala, a couple tablespoons (or to taste) pesto, pepper, a pinch of kosher salt to taste, and, after bringing to a boil and removing from heat, whisk in enough light cream to bring it to your desired level of creaminess. I also keep several cans on hand to make tomato soup and grilled cheese whenever I crave it.
