I searched many websites looking for the lowest price on a Level 2 charger cable for my 2015 Nissan Leaf. There are many plug styles and price points to choose from, therefore, I took a picture of the plug-in outlet on my garage wall with my cell phone to compare with the charger cable plug-in image on the website to be sure it was a perfect match before placing my order (keep in mind, you can usually change the plug-in wall outlet to fit your EV cable plug) This charger cable plug was a perfect match for my wall outlet, the price was about as low as I could find and I can now charge my Leaf about three times faster than the Level 1 charger that came with the vehicle. I don't have one of these, but I thought it would be helpful to show the old and new style dryer outlets, 10-30 and 14-30. This unit is offered with either plug style as an option.

I must say I was a little hesitant at first to buy this product, especially with no reviews. After my lengthy search for a 14-30 EV charger, I found little options. The product came in a easy to carry case, the actual charger has a solid case, easy to read LED notifications and heavy duty cable. I've charged my 500e three times since receiving the charger with no issues or faults. Charge is about 4-5 hours from empty. If you are looking for a nema14-30 ready EV Charger this is a solid option, at a great price. Update 8/25/17: still going strong, use this about 1-2 times per week. I am very pleased with this purchase.
