Spacious, well made and airy.
We opened it up on the patio. What a very easy tent to put up and take down. The legs that are to be locked are the ones in the front opening. They are bent under when you open it. Supposed to lock them first but I missed that in the instructions (lo) which is sewn inside the carry bag. Seems to be well made and fabric is thicker than I expected, which is great!! The windows are large for air flow. The zipper doesn’t go all the way around the front flap. Has two one on each side. And the top just has a piece of Velcro. That is the only thing I wished was different. Has stakes and big pockets for dams. Bring a bucket or something to fill them up. It is spacious for three backpack beach chairs and the back area for a 3.5 foot tall child to stretch out. I think it will be perfect for the beach. I bought the bright orange! Love the color. Will update after our beach trip Update: was easy to put together and really was spacious. Bring a shovel or cup for putting sand in the bags

Great for the beach
I used some smaller 1-person sun shelters earlier in the year that blew around and were horrible to fold back up. I’m afraid my daughter took a video of me struggling to fold them back down as the wind whipped them around. I found this tent which we used on the next trip and it was great. It held its shape in the wind and provided me sun shade. I’m not of the age where I want too much sun exposure - as so many people I know are getting melanomas and other bits removed. It was easy to break down (I read the reviews from a guy who had had issues and then found the directions were attached) and fold up. Not much larger or heavier than a typical fold up beach chair that comes in a carry bag.

So easy to use. Good quality.
So easy to set up and take down. I set it up myself in seconds and took it down in under a minute myself. Great for the beach. Very lightweight but seems sturdy. Great value for the price. Our kid loves it and wants to use it to camp in the living room at night.

Great easy tent, we love it!
The design and use of this tent is excellent. The umbrella pop-up design takes a brief moment to adjust to, but is pretty intuitive and hard to mess up. The tent is light, easy to pack up and load out, and is quick to set up. I would suggest getting a small rubber mallet or toy wooden hammer for the stakes, but that's the only thing lacking. We have used this many times now for the beach and just hanging out on the lawn. We did a trip with 3 toddlers, and it was soooo convenient to just pop them in the tent, tie up the windows, and change diapers or swimsuits. Even our own swimsuits! Two or three adults can easily sit inside with their kiddos as well. My only issue with this tent is, I wish the fabric and zips were slightly higher quality. It just has an oh so slight cheap feel to it. That's the only reason I knocked one star off. Hopefully it stands the test of time. We really love it! Oh also, the blue color was actually quite nice in person, although it looks a bit muddy in the listing photos.

Great for the beach
Bought this tent for a beach trip and it was such a good purchase! My husband easily set up and took it down alone each day. It was big enough for both of us, our chairs, our beach bag, cooler, and our 1 year old climbing around and provided plenty of shade for us. There was one afternoon when the wind got so intense that everyone’s umbrellas around us were breaking or had to be taken down, and this tent did not budge at all.

Love this tent!
This tent is fantastic! I purchased because I was headed to the Oregon coast with my 2 month old and wanted to keep him out of the sun and wind. This tent was perfect. Easy to set up, easy to take down. Just read the instructions on the bag and life is easy peasy. My mom was able to sit in a camping chair in the middle of the tent holding my son while he slept and our other 4 children huddled in around her for a break from the wind periodically. The front part zips up the sides and makes it so there isn’t any wind going inside. The bags around the edges were easy to fill with sand and the tent stayed down well. So far it’s sturdy , easy to use, and I’m really glad I brought it on my trip.

I hate the beach.
I hate the beach. Sitting there, stewing in your own sweat, sand in places. Outside temp is 89deg; heat index 105deg. But the better half loves it. It’s her recharge. So, I had to find something that would make things bearable. I must admit, this pop-up tent is awesome. We took about 10 minutes in our hotel room doing a test run for setting it up the next day. Easy. Instructions are sewn in at the top of the stuff sack. Some complain that the instructions are not clear, and they are not. Because the set up is so easy and intuitive, that any more instructions would just complicate things. Seems well made and with sand in the bags, it held up very well. Good sun coverage and enough room for 2 adults, 2 medium sized beach chairs, towels, 1 medium backpack, and multiple sundry items and 2 drink thermos. A large size cooler probably would cramp things. Tips: 1. Direction of opening is very important. At first, we had the opening facing the waves. It was a sauna and unbearable. Made things worse! Point the opening slightly into the wind to get the breeze. It was easy to adjust even with our gear inside. After that, it made for a very plesent day. 2. Rain- have a backup plan. It began to rain pretty hard, we waited it out. Afterwords, we called it a day. So, just like a regular camping tent, you’re going to have to air this thing out to dry. Coupled that with wet sand, small hotel room, it’s not something you can do while on travel. Be preserved for a proper dry/air out. If rain is in the forecast, forgo the tent and set up some cheap umbrellas for a quicker getaway and easier drying. Plus, next time, take the tent and cheap umbrellas and make a family compound!

Awesome tent!
I have cancer and am taking chemo. My doctor said to be careful in the sun as the chemo makes me much more sensitive. We bought this tent for our beach vacation for extra protection. It did it's job wonderfully! I stayed in the shade and never got sunburned. All the windows/ openness make for great ventilation and it never got super stuffy. The larger open front allowed me to still talk to/ be part of the group. It was super easy to set up and take down. I could do it by myself if I needed to. We also got caught in a rain storm- heavy rain and lots of wind. (Second pic was the tent all closed up once the rain had calmed down.) My son sat inside with everything closed up and stayed perfectly dry. The tent was so sturdy and stable. It definitely got tested but held up perfectly! I also got several compliments on the tent. I probably looked at hundreds of options before purchasing this one. I'm so glad this was the one I picked! Awesome product! Would definitely purchase again!
