Hello,I certainly do believe this is a handy piece of equipment. I wish I had consulted my son's IT expertise prior to ordering this device. Apparently I don't need it for my type of DVD player. But I'm keeping it in case I find I can use it. It seems very functional and handy.

Trying to use a new TV with an HDMI and an older VCR/DVD player. So far so good. Converter is working great.

Do NOT purchase! Does not do as advertised!

Easy to install but the video doesn’t display. Audio works great but could not get image. Tried on three other tvs that have used other converters without problems, so I’m thinking it has to be the cord. What a bummer.
