Great Product, work great!

This works for the old ROKU which have the 3.5 composite or RCA output 3910 or 3710 models which use the OMTP setup needing the ground on the fourth pin and not the third. The only thing you need to do is use the red for video and then yellow and white for the audio.also in general these should work on any composite connection out there since it comes with a OMTP to CTIA adapter, everything out there should use one or the other. the only thing you might need to play with is which color then is outputting video as it may not always be the yellow.

I gave this four stars because it seems like a good quality product and I didn't want to hurt the companies ratings. I wanted to write this review so if someone was using this cable for the same thing I was, then they don't need to order it. I was connecting an old camcorder (Panasonic PV-L452D) to a Dazzle brand capture device to transfer old home videos to my laptop. The cord the camcorder came with only has one audio output and I want to transfer the audio in stereo instead of mono so I was hoping this cable would do that, but when I plugged it in I didn't get audio or video. I think the problem is that the old camcorder doesn't have internal connections that match the TRRS plug on this cable. In other words, I don't think the problem is the cable. So if you have an old camcorder I don't think this cable will work for you.

Exactly what I needed in a hurry, delivered within 24 hrs....very satified!

In my search for a way to connect my 2007 DVD/VHS player to my new Sony Bravia 4K Android TV, which of course has no RCA inputs on the back, I came across this cable. After reading many positive reviews, I got the idea that this would work for that purpose, however, I connected it and got no image or sound. Switching the yellow and white plugs resulted in a horrible image and loud static mixed with quiet movie sound. I realize now that this cable must only be for connecting video cameras or sound systems to modern TVs. I had previously bought an RCA to HDMI converter, but the image is blurry and colors are off, which is why I bought this item. Don't repeat my mistake. If anyone reading this review knows of an HDMI converter that accurately converts the output of VHS players, PLEASE leave me a comment with the specifics.
