Is a Great desk toy, good conversation pice and nice to have something to do, Like when you need to burn the last 15min before lunch or before the end of the day. And then on top of it all it makes your forarms stronger and helps increase cordination (in particular the less dominant hand). Oh and the LED lights are very worth the extra money, it just makes it a bit more exciting.

NSD sent me a set of the special missing strings for the Spinner. So far, I haven't been able to get it to spin fast enough to light up the LCD display. It does supply torque on my wrist, but not enough to resist me. (There is a very faint scraping sound when it spins.)

I just got this in the mail today. This thing is very easy to use, it worked the very first time I tried it. So far it has been a good work out. In my opinion, this is a very good work out for those who have never work out before or haven't work out in a long time (like I am). Just rotating my wrist for about 2 mins and I can feel the burn on my forearm.That's all for now, I'll come back and say more if need be once I have more experience with this ball. Also this ball I think is the nicest compare to the other ones. This one is called the Fusion pro on power ball website, and it's the one that changes color depends on how fast you are going. Around 4k rpm and you are in the red zone, 5-7k and you get violet light, pass 7k and you get gorgeous blue light. I think this one just motivates you better with the color change.To sum it all up, YES! you should get this.

Wow. I clicked on the Auto Start version to order it. When it asked what color, I picked orange because it was cheaper. Turns out the "color" selector was actually a bait and switch tactic as it secretly changed the order to manual start.Fine. Put the string in, pulled it reasonably hard. Lots of stupid lights, very little resistance. The second time I gave it a good tug. String jumped the tracks and permanently jammed around the bearing. That's when I noticed all the blood from when the string ripped through my skin. Pretty deep.Instead of returning it I'm keeping it, jammed string and all, on my work desk as a reminder that some things can't be bought over the internet.Sorry NSD, but you can't expect a good review when your product literally injured me.

I use this only 2-3 times a week for 30 min a session and you can feel the difference in your arms. Don't expect this to replace your weights but it works perfectly if you spend a good while sitting down at work or at a desk. You will have better grip of things and wrists feel a lot sturdier when lifting heavy objects. You do have to push yourself when using it and always try to beat your best record.

I've always wanted one of these things since they came out when I was young (long time ago!).But these are even cooler as they have the built in light that works when you get it spinning and it has an RPM meter, so cool.What else can you ask for? Maybe they can get it to hold a beer at the same time? Hah, not!I can get it spinning without the cord. Just swipe it on my leg a couple of time and spin away...

This is a good equipment for strengthening wrists. I recommend this if you have weak wrists or once you have recovered from tendinitis problem of wrists. It also has some effect on forearms but not much. Do not buy it if you want to build stornger forearms. Also go for one without digital counter, the addon doesn't feel worth the money.

Great quality. I researched all powerball. NSD company is the most respected. I love the white light and clear plastic. I hate the other colours of those other balls. Cheaper 10 dollar balls are more noisy and not as durable. I also like the self powered digital counter. If I did not get the counter I would have bought another ball WITH the counter. Very good exercise for increasing grip strength.

If you know what a powerball is and how it works then you wont be disappointed.If you've been shown how to start it you'll be able to use it instantly. If this is your first one and are having troubles starting it then watching some youtube videos will help you out.
