A lovely bunch of yummy treats made out of MEAT
My beloved husband is part Irish and mostly German, and his favorite food is sausage. Never mind how it's made, we don't want to know, but Dan the Sausageman knows how to put together a lovely spread of various highly savory things made of meat, and this assortment is quite satisfying. If you or your man like a good savory spread, This gift is an excellent bet.

UPDATE-great product with even better customer service!
UPDATE!!! So I found a phone number online and got ahold of Dan himself. He was so helpful and attentive to my concerns. He even sent a second oackage to make up for the bad sausage and my own expectations, which he didn't have to do! My husband was so happy and I was impressed as well ;) Thank you Dan for great sausage abd above and beyond customer service!!!! The photo and product description states there is salmon and there is none! It also states wisconsin cheeses, but only contains a cheese spread. The most frustrating part is one of the sausages has a white milky liquid in the packaging and I cannot find a way to contact them regarding the bad product for replacement or anything which is horrible customer service to begin with! This was my Husband's (whose name is Dan) Father's Day gift from our five kiddos who used their own money to purchase. We are all greatly disappointed in what was going to be an amazing gift - or so we thought. Thus we gave it only one star but believe it should have none.

The mustard is addicting as hell
OK, my wife bought me this gift basket for fathers day...thus I'm hijacking her account to leave my review...the dude who actually consumed it. Ok the snacks stuff...good, not great...edible but not overly memorable. The sausage...delicious...a little smallish but its the average size so you can debate all you want about size...each one filled me up so take that as you will. The cheese, on it's own was decent enough but once slightly melted onto half meatballs, or in the case of the swiss cheese, melted over grilled chicken skewers...it was awesome...now my favorite part of this whole shebang...that freakin sweet hot mustard. It will cause fevered nekkid dreams...it's incredible, spicey enough to make you suck in air, sweet enough to put on anything...only problem is it's the size of something you'd find in a box of Cracker Jack. So my search took me to Dans sight and I see they do sell the mustard alone...but as a set of 6, you guessed it...tiny little dollhouse sized jars. Dan...just put it all into one good sized jar and you'll have a mustard addict customer for like....just do it.

Very heavy
I bought several boxes of Dan the Sausageman's Gormet Gift Box to take to England to give to family. I think the five boxes would have exceeded my weight limit for one checked bag! These are not gift material. These boxes are survival kits. If you want to take food to the homeless, a box will feed a person for a week, maybe more. We ended up giving some away to local family members taking a road trip. A few have ended up in our fridge for future use. The sausage, cheeses etc. are tasty and worth the money. Just don't plan on sending them by mail, UPS or FedEx or carrying on a plane as it will cost you a fortune.
