I have extremely sensitive and very dry skin, so I always check every ingredient before using a facial product. This Lavien Multi Peptide EGF Cream has probably the longest ingredient list I’ve ever seen in a facial cream. This is a very dense, multi-functional formula. It contains various silicones, hydrogenated vegetable oils, and thickening agents. Toward the end of the ingredient list, there is a wide range of growth factors (sh-Polypeptides), amino acids, and vitamins. I like that it includes Panthenol, Allantoin, and Centella derivatives like Asiaticoside and Madecassoside, which help calm redness. The formula is free from parabens, sulfates, artificial dyes, essential oils, and added fragrance. For someone with very sensitive skin, the long ingredient list is a practical risk. With over 60 components, there are more chances of a breakout or redness, and it can be hard to pinpoint the exact trigger. The first thing I noticed is that this Lavien cream is completely unfragranced. The pump is unusual, you press the top circle to release a small amount of cream from the center. It feels very hygienic, though I wonder how well it will work when the jar is almost empty. The texture is moderately lightweight, not greasy or oily, and feels comfortable and cooling on the skin. What I really didn’t expect is that this Lavien Multi Peptide EGF Cream would be the least irritating and most moisturizing cream I have ever tried. It is the first facial cream that not only avoids irritation but actually calms the skin. I have struggled with extremely sensitive, very dry skin for over 15 years and tried a huge number of products made specifically for sensitive skin, yet none worked fully for me. I even applied this Lavien cream on my cheeks when they were burning from another product, and it calmed the skin almost instantly. I usually apply this cream after washing my face, either on bare skin or after toner. It visibly softens small wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes. My skin feels plumper, firmer, and nourished, with a subtle dewy glow. It makes my face look younger and healthier than any other cream or moisturizer I've tried. My skin stays calm and moisturized all day or all night until I cleanse my face and even after that my skin continues to feel good. All other products I’ve used before were either irritating or weren't moisturizing enough. This cream also works great under makeup, it doesn't peel and I don't have to use a primer. The price isn’t budget-friendly, but considering how much I’ve spent on facial creams that didn’t work for me, it feels acceptable. So far, this is the only cream that truly works for me from every perspective. For someone with less sensitive and dry skin a cheaper cream might work just as well. My only concern is that the expiration date is only eight months away. This is fine for immediate use but it’s not ideal if you want to stock up.

I've been using the product for about a week, which probably isn't long enough to really see a difference, because I don't. But, the product has no scent, doesn't feel greasy, and absorbs into my skin almost instantly. It's an interesting delivery mechanism; you push down on the top and a tiny bit squooshes up for you to scoop up. It takes 3-4 squooshes to cover my face and neck in a very light application.

I purchased this thinking wow this must be really good at that price. I’ve tried giving it the benefit of doubt so I went ahead and kept it just to see if it was good. I’m almost thru the container and there is no change in my skin at all! It stinks something terrible! I honestly believe Walmart brand would have given me better results.

I like this product a lot because it's thick and rich but not oily. Perfect for night cream and during winter when the skin easily gets dry.

This is a very heavy cream, almost a paste. For my dry older skin, it’s wonderfully restorative. I’ve used it for day and night and it is a very effective moisturizer. Comes in a silly egg like container that serves the purpose of being easy to find without my glasses….it stands out! This cream has a sweet floral scent which is fairly light. I find it appealing. For me it is a bonus. The heft of this cream is amazing. I couldn’t imagine using anything this dense as a younger woman but now it is perfect for my skin care needs.

Going on, it feels thick and luxurious. The cream has a wonderful scent that dissipates quickly. My skin does not feel sticky or oily after application. The cream absorbs well and throughout the day it keeps my skin feeling and looking good. The egg shaped container that it comes in is unusual and very pretty. This container has very little English but the outer box has more information that is written in English.

I am new to Lavien products. This cream is made in Korea and comes in a flashy silver egg shaped plastic container. This cream is thick and white with almost no scent. It is easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way. It takes a few minutes to absorb fully. It does create a moisture layer on my skin and it feels tightening. I like that it is not oily. It can be used day and night but it works better for me at night. I have not used it long enough to comment on anti aging properties. it contains centella asiatica among the many ingredients.
