I purchased this cover for my new 7 qt Kitchen Aid mixer, so I can cover the mixer bowl when I chill dough.It also works well to prevent splatters while mixing. It requires some dexterity to attach the bowl, get the cover (with the middle removed) onto the mixer, then attach the beater. But it does work well.I leave my mixer on my countertop, so the cover keeps any dust/etc. off of the beaters.The lid fits snugly.

Happy with the fit, makes chilling & storing dough easier. The lid is a heavy plastic, will be very durable.

I just love this spatter cover for my KitchenAid 6qt lift mixer. Add the smaller cover and place in the fridge for those recipes that need to be refrigerated before baking .It definitely fits like it was made for this mixer.I’ve had trouble in the past with shields for this 6 quart bowl staying on. Not fitting properly during mixing.. Not this one, It snaps down in place and doesn’t come off until you take it off!I highly recommend this if you have a 6 quart lift kitchenAid❤️

Nice lids for the mixing bowl. Easy to use and fits on the bowl. Cleans well and seems durable. Good value for the money.

Arrived in a timely manner and does just what it says. Lids prevent splatter when mixing and keep the bowl clean during storage.
