Love this china - looks beautiful, hopefully will do well over time
Of the 40 pieces, just one bowl was broken upon arrival. I'm not sure how to get a replacement for it. Amazon's menu only offers the option to return the entire set for replacement. Seems silly, when I just need a single bowl. Mikasa's info on the Amazon listing says they will replace any broken items if I contact customer service. So I went to their website, clicked on Contact Us, and it said the best way to contact them was via email. So far no reply... EDIT: I still haven't heard from Mikasa, so I called them. They confirmed that I need to start the replacement process via Amazon. It took some digging, but eventually I found a way to contact Amazon. The rep gave me two options - either return the entire set for a replacement, or he could offer a partial credit. Since I have unpacked and washed and even started using the set, and because it's just a single bowl, I opted to take the credit. The amount is more than enough to order the single bowl from the Mikasa website. So in the end I'm satisfied, but the process was not as simple and straightforward as I expected.

Great dishes
Greats pasta bowls. They are a good size and have a clean and simple design. We own other Mikasa dishes, but these ones seem to be a better quality. Whatever coating they use on them constantly feels nice and slick so they clean up very well.
