Great buy, durable and warm
I'm a large and these fit tight, I've got thinner fingers and still feel tight, wish I would have gone a size bigger (XL). Maybe need some breaking in. Very warm set to 70 degrees to preserve battery, I would like to see how they work on a 0 to 20 F (-17 to -6 C) bike rides lasting an 1-2 hrs. Cuff keeps draft out but wish it was a little bigger to allow for watch and fabric to tuck comfortably under. Will update after a few rides. These are pricey but so are higher end gloves that are not heated.Update. Used on med. cold day (0's to teens) had on low but would intermittently turn off and if hands got sweaty, near impossible to take out and reinsert. Touch screen feature stopped working at cold temps.Used on a couple of really cold days. -17, -19 (not including wind-chill). Set on medium setting, maintained temp for about an hour. If it wasn't for the bulkiness of the battery and the liner getting stuck when pulling out hand I would have kept these. Good if you don't intend removing hand. Touch screen didnt work or was too difficult to use phone to turn back on the heat when it went out or lost connection. The app was really nice and easy to setup.

Well made
They didn't like extreme cold. At -15° the batteries didn't last very long which make them just gloves and not heated. Other than that, they are well made gloves. They run smaller than normal mechanix gloves. I normally wear a large glove but these I got in XL and they are a little tight to get my hand into but fit well around the fingers when on. The clim8 app is nice to keep track of battery life and control temperatures of the gloves.

Very Small Sums it Up
The product is very small. Order 1 - 2 sizes larger than normal. I’m surprised by the fit.

Great MC glove.
Gloves are a bit bulky and will definitely need to be worn in, yet are comfortable. The directions and app were easy to set up and the auto on/off feature is great. Wore them in 30 degree weather on the work bike and my hands were completely warm.

Worth the money
I live in Michigan and these gloves are great. I work In construction outside and they have really helped me out this winter. The only complaint is once the battery life gets to 44% they stop working

Very stiff glove.
These gloves would be very durable but they are very stiff and hard to have dexterity.

Best gloves ever
What more is there to say. These gloves keep you warm in the coldest weather.

Well built, run small, limited battery life
Using their size guide I was an XL, which I purchased I wish I had sized up as they are very tight when grasping something (I use them for skiing). Finger length is fine, but it takes effort to keep curled into a fist, and I can feel tension from the glove heating elements on the knuckles. Perhaps they will loosen up with time, but beware initially.Overall construction is high quality. Well stitched, high quality leather and nylon. They say water resistant - I’d like to add glove wax to improve winter performance but I’ll have to check with the manufacturer to see if that’s OK with the electronics.I used one day with outside temps in the 20s and they kept my fingers warm (outside for less than 2 hours). The app said I still had 2/3 charge, so I didn’t charge overnight. I wish I did because the next day - similar temperature- my hands were cold and within 1 hour the gloves were blinking low battery. The moral of the story is don’t trust the clim8 app, always charge them after usage. But I was a bit disappointed in battery life given relatively mild temps and the app set for mid-70s glove temperature. For the price, and given Mechanixs reputation I really had higher expectations. Please size up, and invest in a second battery pack (another $50 investment).Edited 1/26/22I’ve now used the gloves for a month. The leather has loosened, so they aren’t as tight as original. I still feel an electrical connection on the right knuckle when grasping, but they have broken in and am pleased with overall fit & comfort. I am, however, still disappointed with battery life and the app. First, the Apple iPhone app burns up your phone’s battery. I reported to Clim8 and they say they are releasing a new version. But in the meantime, make sure you close the app on your phone after using. Second, I’ve been out many times in cold weather skiing with temps in the teens - temp set at 78F for the gloves - and they stay warm for about 2 1/2 hours. The Clim8 app says the battery is at 50%, but my hands started to get very cold. The glove’s led started to blink, so I’m thinking the battery automatically goes into some sort of power conservation mode automatically- even though the app implies you’re only at 50% use and have plenty of life left. Mechanixs and Clim8 really need to work on improving the user interface and experience. Sure the solution for all day battery life is to simply carry an extra set of batteries, but at $50 this doesn’t come cheap. In short, if you expect to go out and use these for an hour or two you’ll be fine in colder weather. If your activity or work lasts beyond that, be prepared.
