This item needs clarification that it's not for cooking. Copper finish burned off, filling my kitchen with a noxious smell. It is not copper but a copper-hued finish over steel. I believe this is just meant for holding chips or nuts and not an actual balti dish (cooking vessel) but a dish in the style of a balti. Please clarify for customers wanting an authentic Indian or Pakistani balti dish.

I should have read the dimensions better . I thought I could use it on my counter with fruit in it but it’s way too small. Beautiful detail though
