Protectors of my feet
This is my third pair of Columbia hiking boots I’ve ordered through Amazon. The first two were exactly the same and they have been my favorite and most comfortable pair of hiking boots. I at times hike long and through rough terrains (15-20 miles), and my boots have been good to my feet. Rarely do I get a blister which is likely when doing long hikes but it has been very rarely and feel it has to do more with the pair of socks that I used that were new and did not go well. Anyway, this time when I reordered by boots they no longer carried the exact boot and for them in a slightly different color and they look a little different but it is still the same great boot. They are water resistant, have great grip, good ankle support, make me look badass, and they protect my little feet :). I also like they come in wide.

Comfortable and durable, absolute winners
I bought this boots for a trip across Scandinavia that was going to include a lot of hiking. I was a little nervous because I didn’t have time to break them in, but it was the only shoes I could pack because I didn’t have a lot of space in my bag. I am very happy that I went with a reliable brand that does not disappoint. These boots are high-quality with very sturdy stitching and hardware attachment. I wore them every single day on the trip and although they were a little stiff on the first day, they got very comfortable around the third, and I had no problems with them . Since it was my only pair of shoes, I also wore them for visiting the city and they actually wear pretty stylish and cool in the pictures. Since this was a summer trip and had very good weather I did not have to worry about snow or rain, but the thread is very strong and I have no doubt that they will perform amazing in our weather.

Super Cute and Comfortable
These are super cute and comfortable. I didn’t have to break into them and they are VERY waterproof. High quality with perfect fit. But I do recommend to go slightly up if you want to hike for a while as you might need a bit of room for your feet.

Comfortable and Durable Hiking Boots
I’ve been wearing these hiking boots for the past few months on trails and around town, and they were very comfortable from the start. The break-in period was non-existent (they were ready to wear right out of the box), and they provide excellent support for long walks. The grip is solid on both dry and wet terrain, and the boots feel durable enough to handle regular use. The waterproofing is excellent and my feet stayed completely dry, even when crossing a river! The boots are lightweight enough to wear for all day wear, but for longer hikes they may become a bit heavy feeling. They are true to size and width and have proven to be a great choice among the many options there are for hiking boots.

Comfy and Durable — But Definitely Not Black
These boots are super comfortable and great for long walks or hikes, but just a heads-up — they’re a dark emerald green, not black. Still love the fit and waterproofing, though.

Super Cute, So Warm and Comfortable — Genuinely Waterproof Too!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally bought these Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus boots for a Halloween costume, and they looked great with my outfit — plus, I think they’re super cute. But more importantly, I quickly realized they’re incredibly comfortable right out of the box and keep my feet so warm — which is huge because my fingers and toes are always freezing in winter. We had almost 2 feet of snow in a week, and I wore these boots several days in a row to shovel and use the snow blower. Each time I was out in 10° weather and deep snow for 4–5 hours, my feet stayed completely warm, even just with normal cotton socks. I was also blown away by the waterproofing — after hours in wet snow, my boots looked like they hadn’t even touched moisture. These boots are now my go-to snow and cold-weather boots, and I’m seriously impressed with both the comfort and the performance. I’m excited to see how they do on actual hikes too, but for winter wear, they’ve exceeded every expectation. I liked them so much that I’ll be buying a comparable pair for my boyfriend!

Don't want to take them off!
I had no idea what I have been missing all my life. Wearing these on a simple hike totally changed the way my feet and legs work. Well, my whole body works differently. It was a grand pleasure to step and move. I had always thought that good shoes are for the comfort of the foot, but I was missing the point. Good footwear can make your feet and whole body feel better than normal. The sizing was accurate, but then room inside the boot can be altered with sock thickness. At first they seemed to cramp my feet, but that was very temporary. It took less than an hour to feel broken in, perhaps due to bringing them in from the cold when they were delivered and being warmed by my feet. The best way to put them on is to stand, so the feet are spread out to their full width and not in a pointed position, as one does when putting on shoes and socks when seated. Begin tightening from the toe, cinching upward to the ankle. The laces on these are terrific. They can be pulled easily and do not slip back. An important part about standing to lace is that the leg and foot are at 90 degrees to each other unlike when seated and the foot is more in line with the leg. When cinching the laces while standing, the boot top will not be too tight, but will be correct to accommodate walking. You want the foot to be more snug than the upper part. Don't lace it all at once and expect the laces to distribute the snugness for you. Adjust each section individually. They are really cute! I love looking down at my feet. I almost didn't want to hike with them because I didn't want to get them dirty, but I loved getting out on the trail with my dog and going anywhere, even through the mud. Only one complaint. Most shoe bottoms, including these get clogged and impacted. There are a few shoe designers, not Columbia, who make the shapes on the soles so that they expel and shed dirt, leaves, mud, ice instead of retaining it. Other than that drawback, these hiking shoes are a dream, and very fairly priced.
