WORKS GREAT
I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews for this seller and item. Once received, I installed the cartridge which was factory sealed and it worked perfectly. A great price also and would definitely purchase again from seller when needed.

Cartridge is worthless
I put off replacing the cartridge in my HP Laserjet 1000 for many months. I was tempted to get a remanufactured/reconditioned one since I had used them at work before with no real problem. Then I recalled the problems I had a few years back using "compatible" cartridges for my Canon inkjet. Because of these off-brand cartridges, I ended up having to spend a chunk of money to replace the whole print head. (Back before print heads were integrated into ink cartridges, they were built better and would last a really, really long time - meaning consumers could refill their own ink cartridges as many times as they liked.)So, I decided to go with a brand new HP cartridge. After shopping around a bit, I ordered one - via Amazon - from Laser & Copy Supply. It arrived on time and the packaging was fine.I ripped off the thin strip of cardboard that seals every HP toner box, took the cartridge out of the sealed black plastic bag, then installed it. When I ran a test page, I had serious ghosting (image repeated further down the page) and major black splotches, especially on the top half of the page.I checked online and read that this problem may result from a bad Primary Charge Roller. Apparently this is not uncommon when buying remanufactured cartridges. However, I ordered what was supposedly a brand new HP cartridge! If I had checked out the bottom of the box the cartridge came in, I would've known to be suspicious. The cardboard has been seriously torn on both sides and then obviously re-glued.When I called the Laser & Copy Supply, I got a voice menu. I pressed "0" for operator, and the second I uttered the phrase "toner cartridge", I was transferred to someone's voicemail. This is not the access I expect to have to an Amazon seller when I call at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The problem is not with my printer. The old cartridge still works fine except the output is a little faint in places. The problem is this new cartridge. It is a complete FAIL.Now I wish I'd paid the extra $20 and gotten one from Staples, Office Max, or some vendor who has proved reliable in the past.If I get a response from the vendor, I will update this review.----------------UPDATE:After leaving two messages with the vendor, I got a callback. I explained the cartridge did not work properly, and pointed out its carton had been torn in several places and seemed to have been reglued. (Later, on a new HP cartridge purchased from my local office supply store, I noticed there was a black plastic tab on the end of the foil strip that gets yanked out of the cartridge before installation. This was missing on the cartridge I bought via Amazon; there was just the foil strip)."Jacob" was properly contrite on behalf of the Laser & Copy Supply, and offered me either a replacement or a full refund. I chose the latter and he said he was submitting it right then. The credit appeared on my account in short order. When I asked if he wanted me to return the cartridge, he said, "Not if it's like you say it is."So, though disappointed the cartridge didn't work for me, I appreciated not having to repackage (and pay postage) to send the defective cartridge back, and the fact that my refund came through without delay.

I installed this one on 14 Apr 18 and it has been working just fine ever since
I have used these before in my HP LaserJet 1200 and have never had a problem with them. I ordered this one on 3 Mar 18 as my old one was running out. I installed this one on 14 Apr 18 and it has been working just fine ever since. I know from reading some reviews that some people have had some problems, well I'm not one of them.

Not the product, but the seller's service that counts
When the first printer cartridge arrived, it was defective. I called the shipper's, GoFastParts, customer service department and the person who answered the phone was courteous and helpful in sending a replacement cartridge. The second cartridge took a couple weeks to arrive and I had to go buy a cartridge from a retail store that cost nearly $20 more than their price. Over-all I felt GoFastParts'service was excellent and they handled the transaction professionally.

Poor product
I live in a rural area, so I purchase things to "have on hand" when the need arises. I opened and installed this ink cartridge (after the return window) and it has been a total mess, ink is all over the reverse side of the page, the print is so light i can barely read the information. I have removed et reinstalled several times with no positive effect. I gently shook the cartridge hoping to help, it did not! I have had this printer for many years and purchased ink several times; always had a great outcome! I will purchase somewhere else next time!

I'm glad Amazon had this product for my HP printer -- ...
I'm glad Amazon had this product for my HP printer -- which by now is probably an antique printer. But to me, this is the only printer I will ever need at home so I hoping they keep selling the Black Original Laser Jet Toner. Most of these printers were in offices back in the 90's and maybe because they are very efficient, they still are.
