Sun destroyed the webbing in my aluminum patio chairs so I bought this to replace it. After reverse engineering how the original webbing was installed I went to work and re-webbed the chairs. This product is very strong and easy to work with. Also, looks great after installation. You have to work with shorter lengths (about 20 ft) at a time to properly wrap and weave the patterns or you will get very tangled up, believe me. This requires quite a few splices which I found, from trial-and-error, are best accomplished using a “plastics bonder” , basically super glue with an activator. Not a project for the impatient.

I had a few areas on my patio furniture that the sun ate up… I know, why have something that can live in the sun outdoors.. I used this to reweave the damaged sections. Tedious job, the color match was ok and worked out well. Buy a rattan tool if you ar weaving into the rest of the fabric, easier on your fingers.
