Works great powering COB LED light strips
I bought two of these 24V units to power a decent sized COB LED strip installation in my kitchen. I also bought three 5V units to power a BUNCH of RGBIC LED strips, two hooked up to a switched circuit, and one always on. The 24V units are on a separate switch. So far all of the power supplies in the installation work great, only complaint is that the fans get noisy on the 24V units after the lights have been on for about five minutes. My complaint about the fans really has to do with one of the power supplies which turns its fan on-off-on-off to regulate the temperature of the power supply depending on how heavy the electric load is, while the second one has a smooth speed control on its fan and ramps the speed up or down to keep its temperature controlled. I much prefer the self-adjusted fan that runs at much lower RPMs than the power supply that turns its fan on and off, because that one turns the fan on full-speed and makes much more noise, and brings attention to the fan noise by constantly turning it on and off. I’m planning to move both of the 24V supplies to a location away from the kitchen so that the fans can’t be heard at all. The voltage measures clean on both, and the output is adjustable so you can dial in exactly the voltage you need for the application you are connecting it to. The voltage is well regulated as well. Great little power supplies at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly
No hiccups yet, this thing is reliable.

Tons of power for the price!
Very easy to use! Flip the plastic guard up, screw down your two wires for AC in, and boom! You've got a ton of 24 volt power to work with! Fan is on but quite above ~20-40 watts. Above ~100 you can start to hear it pretty good though. Above 300 watts, and yeah, it's a bit loud 😂 but not terrible by any means. Unit is warm up to about 200 watts. Above that, it's hot. But not detrementally so from my measurements. Voltage has a adjustment knob for +/- 5% control, but I'm not doing anything that sensitive. It does work however. Seems to have very decent under-voltage-lockout/short circuit protection. And will cut power in the event of a short, or just before hitting the rated power limit. No issues there! Amazing bang for your buck. Compaired to the plastic 1-2 amp power bricks, this is just a no Brainer. Significantly improved heat disaption should improve longevity for the output capacitors, much beefier and efficient forward-converter vs a flyback. And very little switching nosie/voltage sag on the output, even under a decent load.

Used to power a 32' length of high-brightness LED tape
I built a 60"x30" backlit frameless bathroom mirror using a 32' length of high-density, very bright LED tape. Just like the ones you see on Amazon. Because of the brightness and number of LEDs, the solution required a 24V DC power supply capable of powering 160W. This was hard to come by, and I found the solution in this 24VDC 10A 240W Power Supply. I just had to connect my own power cord (3-wire hot, neutral and ground) and connect the LEDs to one of three pairs of 24VDC V+/V- terminals. The power outlet feeding the power supply was switched by a regular wall switch. In all, this has turned out to be a great and reliable solution. The output voltage was an accurate 24VDC, but it had a tunable resistor to make small adjustments to the voltage, if necessary. The power supply has no fan but good ventilation with lots of holes in the metal case. I am confident in this power supply because of its safety features like automatic overload cut-off, over-voltage cut-off, automatic thermal cut-off, and short circuit protection. Good value for money.

Worked perfectly with our Led lights
Installed this unit in our pantry. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The unit has a fan and kicks on if the lights have been left on for a while. The fan is quiet as well. In my opinion, this is a quality built adapter and we are very happy with the performance.

Poor quality. 24V 15A P/S with 8Adc load fails in months
Poor quality. Bought 2. Both 24V 15A devices. The one in a less than 70°F environment failed in ~ 4 months, the one at 70-80°F in ~ 2 months. The part, probably an inductor, that fails is under ventilation slots near AC input so is visible but probably does not get much ventilation. The first one failed open with smoky smell. On the 2nd one, the coiled wires inside part glowed, lighting up whole inside of P/S, showing the coils inside the part -- smoky smell. Still worked, but stopped using. Both PCB's are char'ed around the same part. When used, used about 8 hours continuosly a day. AC input was right st 120VAC. Both P/S's were about 90% efficient at 24V+10% with constant 8 Adc output. Fan runs intermittantly with realatively low noise. If they did not fail, would have rated at 4 stars.

good
The item is great. I use it in my car to power a car refrigerator. It’s very stable, and I’ve been using it continuously. Very good.

24vdc 15amp power supply
I bought this power supply to recharge my LiPo batteries using it to power my Lipo charger. The batteries charged by this power supply are 3s 3000mAh Lipo's now & it does a great job only drawing 20% of the power supply output. When charging larger batteries or battery packs, there is plenty of room for the power supply to increase output without going over the magic 80% of the power supply total output. I should have tried this years ago, but it wasn't known to me @ that time. This is a great deal for my needs & hopefully it will last for many years. By the end of July in the same year I bought it, the fan no longer operates. The fan will run on outside power showing that it is still good, but the thermistor that controls it has gone bad. The unit still puts out good clean power.
