Last much longer than others. Less comfortable. Runs small.
Let's start of with the issues. These run small and you'll need to buy a larger size. I typically wear a medium and had to go with a L/XL size. The knee pads follow the contour of your knee when your in a skating stance, so they can be uncomfortable when you straighten your legs.Honestly, these are minor inconveniences for the quality and durability of these pads. They will far exceed any other brand of pads out there. I have taken so many falls and the fabric is barely tearing. Of course, these won't last forever, but typically your knee pads will go first (if you're me anyway). These pads stay in place for most of my sessions, but they can move if you slide or land on them. The plastic plate on these pads is very strong and tends toward allowing you to slide through a bail rather than straight colliding with a surface. This is true even on concrete especially when using in conjunction with 187 Killer derby wrist guards. I have slid many times and the plate is still going strong. There is also some pretty thick foam padding in these pads that help reduce the shock to a great degree.Overall, I would try out Triple Eight Savers to see if you'll stick around. If you where those out, then these 187 Killer pads should be your next step, because they offer great protection, longevity, and quality at a more than fair price. These are great for inline skating, skateboarding, BMX, roller derby, and even ice skating.

Cute color and great quality!
My son skateboards and does crazy tricks, this brand pads have kept him safe for several years. Love that they had this cool camo color and my son loves them too!

Great quality
I got these for my father in law and they fit great! He fell and landed on his elbow and he did not get hurt. So they work well! He also says they are comfortable and can tell they are good quality. I think they also look cool too.

Great Pads
This is a nice set of pads that I use for skating; I'm a little in between sizes, so the knee pads are a touch big, but they fit the best of all the different brands I've tried at skate shops. This set comes highly recommended in those circles, so I gave them a go and they've been in my skate bag ever since! Great construction and super durable.

Can’t straighten legs and elbows
Hard to straighten legs and elbows With these on. I have a set of triple eight elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards which are very comfortable but I got the one size fits all and the elbow pads are too big.I am a middle-aged woman going back into rollerskating so I’m worried about protecting my bones, I have already fallen twice. As long as I was getting new elbow pads that actually fit me I decided to go up a quality and buy the 187 killer pads which are supposed to be super durable and padded.I got the S/M size elbow and knee pads combo. While the elbow pads do fit, the knee pads are snug. The circumference of my knees at the crook are 14.5” but I needed to get the S/M because I have thin arms. The 187 killer pads feel a lot more secure than the triple eight pads that I got. They are a sleeve instead of just the Velcro like the triple 8’s. I actually prefer just the Velcro, they’re more comfortable. But I can not straighten my legs or my arms wearing the 187 killer pads. The kneepads especially are uncomfortable because of that reason. But my knees are always kind of bent when I’m rollerskating anyway since I’m re-learning and I’ll take them out for a spin and see if I can deal with it. I’m keeping them regardless because they do feel super protective.

Protects my ancient knees and elbows
These are a good purchase for anyone not wishing to have hamburger knees, especially if you plan on skating and a park. I rediscovered skateboarding after not having done it for 35 years or so and definitely needed something to avoid being a laughing stock when I inevitably wiped out, these definitely did the job. they do make me a bit sweaty, but so does everything these days.

Slip on can be hard to slip off over shoes.
The media could not be loaded. Knee pads are slip on which can make it hard to get off over your shoes. Other then that they are very durable and comfortable. However, I love that the elbows are slip on, makes it easy to put on by your self. I’m a 5ft 5in women at130 lbs and I got small/medium and they fit great.
