What kind of wood is this?

It's NOT any type of wood. It's made from bamboo, which is a grass, and thus a much more environmentally friendly and sustainable resource.

Mine has a recipe on it is this authentic was it changed because picture doesn't match what I received?

This peel is made from bamboo, not any wood (the description says that it is "wood color", but the material is clearly indicated as bamboo). It probably wouldn't qualify as traditional or "historically authentic" because bamboo is not native to France. However, bamboo is much more ecologically sustainable, and all you need is to flip your baguettes. This picture matches what I received, with only the measurement guide on it.

Is this bamboo board treated and/or sealed? or is it raw?

I don't know if it's bamboo or if it's sealed. My cutting boards and pasta board are not sealed. I have used it numerous times and it's looks like new.
