I’ve been using this sugar free vanilla whey protein for almost 2 years now and am a big fan. It was surprisingly difficult to find a sugar free powder that didn’t use Sucralose or another unhealthy chemical sweetener. This product uses Stevia. It has a great balance of sweetness, not overly sweet - and IMO the sweetness tastes natural, without any weird aftertaste. It blends great with my setup, dissolves super well. Texture is great. It’s simple and unobtrusive, which I like. I’ll often add my own cacao/cocoa powder if I want a chocolate flavor and it works great. These other companies need to ditch the Sucralose & start using stevia, allulose or monk fruit. Haven’t found a better alternative and am fully content with this one.

I wish companies would realize that some people want a 'sugar-free experience'. That simply means we don't want to feel like we're drinking a sugar-loaded drink, whether that means real sugar or FAKE sugar! Simply put - it's OK to make something that doesn't taste like sugar. It's OK to NOT load something with a fake sugar substitute. But no, that's too difficult. Let's make something 'sugar free', then make it as sweet as we can by loading it with Stevia or whatever other BS. Disappointing. I'm turned-off by anything that tastes overly sweet, and unfortunately, this 'sugar-free' item does.

I, too, am a long time user,(maybe 8 years or more) but I use it as a breakfast drink and put it in the blender with a piece of banana, and fruits. Not low calorie, but very filling and I might add....delicious! I have it almost every morning for my breakfast and it's filling and very satisfying. I actually miss having my smoothie when we are traveling! I don't know why people say it gives them diarrhea, or stinks, or gives them high blood pressure! I have NEVER in my 10 years of using it, had ANY adverse affects. I now use the vanilla because they discontinued the Coconut, which was my favorite but this vanilla is also delicious!

I love it! It was a few months ago when I started drinking the Biochem protein. I was attracted to it after rigorously comparing dozens of different protein powders against my needs. I began with the Vanilla, and have also tried the Chocolate, as well as the Berries + Whey protein powders. They were all pretty good, but my ultimate favorite is the Vanilla! Recently, I've decided to cut back on my sugar intake even more in my daily diet, so I decided to give the Vanilla sugar-free option a try. I was worried about the change at first because I absolutely LOVED those delicious little sugar crystals at the bottom of the glass after drinking the shake- I looked forward to it everyday as a dessert! LOL. A small treat like that (especially at the end of the day) can be quite lovely and exciting for someone who's daily diet consists of eating low-sugar! To my surprise, the Vanilla sugar-free tasted NO different from the regular. I'm not sure if this is just me and my own taste-buds talking, but I really didn't taste a difference at all. I will miss my sugar crystals, and perhaps one day I'll return to them. Also, thanks for the minimal-ingredient formula, Biochem!! Many peeps seriously appreciate that.
