H. G. Wells: Four Novels: The Time Machine, The Island of Doctor Moreau, The Invisible Man, The War of the Worlds

The book is on the larger size and because of this, each page holds a lot of content (ex. The Time Machine is only a lil over 50 pages). For a book holding 4 novels it is a great size. I find it great for cozy reading.I purchased this because I wanted to read The Time Machine. After looking around on Amazon I decided to purchase this version given the great price and getting multiple novels. Other sellers sell one novel for about this price; here you're getting four.I'm still making my way through the book and so far I am very happy. This is going to sit proudly on my bookshelf.

The stories themselves obviously hold up well. I'm not going to try and critique the works of HG Wells but the presentation of them is definitely lacking. Gave it 3 stars because it is very cheap in price but I definitely wasn't happy when I saw how big it was in actual length by width as well as the fact I get the impression I ordered it and it was printed for me and then shipped out from some Amazon print factory mass producing royalty-free works. I mean, at the very least; for every one copy bought, Amazon should donate a copy to a teacher's or school's libray

Has 4 books in one. The larger size makes sure the book isn’t very thick which makes it great to pack in tote bags. This does not have large print, and as another reviewer pointed out one story doesn’t have that many pages. But, it’s 4 books in the volume and if the pages were smaller the book would be a lot thicker and harder to pack around. I’m happy with it.

I was convinced to buy this edition over the others because it includes three other works that I also wanted to read. I was shocked by the book that showed up. The size of this book makes it borderline unreadable (and I'm not usually a picky reader). See the attached photos for a size comparison between this book, a standard textbook, and a normally-sized work of fiction. Do yourself a favor and just buy the other works individually. Save yourself the time it takes to return this behemoth.

Great that I have four of Wells' books to read at my liesure, but whoever decided to print it in this format kinda dropped the ball. But, for 10 bucks? Meh...
