Tasty
Tasty choice for anyone keeping an eye on their macros and calories. The flavor is excellent, with a satisfying cookies and cream taste that feels like a treat rather than a diet product. At 13g of protein, 4g of net carbs, and only 2g of sugar, it’s perfect for those following low-carb or keto-friendly plans. It’s also high in fiber, which helps keep you full between meals. The texture is chewy with a nice crunch from the cookie bits, making it enjoyable to eat without being overly sweet or artificial. If you're looking for a convenient, delicious snack that aligns with your nutritional goals, this bar is a fantastic option. Highly recommend it for busy days or as a post-workout snack!

One of the best tasting Atkins bars out there! Love these things!
The cookies and creme and their chocolate/caramel bars are, hands-down, the best-tasting and most satisfying protein bars I've found so far. These taste almost just like a compacted bunch of Oreo cookies, but they're darned filling and will keep you from dying of hunger for a while! I'm doing a Keto diet, and I keep these in my desk drawer for whenever I get really hungry or am just craving a snack. Eat one of these and you're pretty much full for a couple of hours, and they taste fantastic, unlike a lot of other bars. Texture is great, they're not gummy or just a compacted wad of nuts like a bunch of bars are - I HIGHLY recommend these and the chocolate/caramel bars - if you like Milky Way bars, those are amazingly close to the real thing!

Quite Good--for a low carb protein bar
Atkins has certainly come a long way. I had some of their protein bars about a decade ago and they were possibly the most vile of the entire class. These really are VERY edible. It is a protein bar, not a candy bar, but when you are actively dieting, it almost tastes like a yummy treat. There are not many low carb alternatives out there so I was thrilled with this one.I deducted a star because I don't like the looks of it when I'm eating it. It is exactly as pictured, but it is unappetizing to me and that is an important aspect of food. I just tend to grab one when I'm on the run and that solves the problem.

Smells and tastes almost exactly like the black sandwich cookie.
This is very welcome-- I have been faithfully following the new Atkins plan since February 2010, and have lost almost 50 pounds despite being postmenopausal and hypothyroidal. I have done this without any discomfort or feelings of deprivation, in large part, I think, because I eat two Atkins bars a day, as permitted under the plan. Most of the higher protein Atkins bars are variations on chocolate peanut butter and caramel. They are great, but after 15 months, I branched out into the lower protein breakfast bars, which are generally very tasty, but when I need a little extra protein to curb my appetite, these new cookies and creme bars really hit the spot. They smell and taste almost exactly like chocolate sandwich cookies, and have a very similar crunch. There's no "creme" filling--it's more like a nougat/marshmallow--very chewy--but very tasty and it slows you down from wolfing the whole thing in two bites as I might with a more cookie like product. This gives my other favorite Marshmallow Mudslide a run for its money.

Heavily processed snack bar.
I knew before getting this that I was buying something heavily processed with little real ingredients. But I was looking to try something new and different and was in need of some snacks that weren't heavy on sugar... The taste is ok. The middle is a bit chewy, kind of crunchy. The outer layer of chocolate is ok. If you plan on freezing them and eating them be careful as the chocolate will flake off a lot and fall all over the place. The white center is barely noticeable. it's not creamy. it's more of a chewy stretchy filling.. The bar it self doesn't taste much like an oreo but it's ok. I wasn't truly expecting that... Just keep a few things in mind when buying this bar.It has lots of saturated fat.it's heavily processed with huge ingredient list. mostly weird chemicals.it has artificial sweeteners which can cause stomach discomfort for some peoplein all reality,it's not that healthy for you even if it is "LOW CARB". it has lots of fat,and is only 180 calories which is hardly even close to a meal replacement. You would be better off eating a big piece of chicken breast and some veggies... But if you want something kind of indulgent and are missing chocolate bars and candies. This might satisfy some of those urges.

Yum-o
I love the Atkins meal bars. They are soft to chew, I love chocolate so the chocolate was superb. They curb my appetite and the sugar and carb content is low so they are safe for me to eat. I recommend them for everyone.

Sweet Tooth
I have the biggest sweet tooth, and this bar met those needs. I literally feel like I am eating a chocolate covered Oreo. Sometimes I even feel guilty eating this bar because I feel as if I am eating something very unhealthy and fattening, then I come to the realization that it only has 4 net carbs..... amazing. Anyways, I have ordered these about 3 times already and only once did the bars look kind of weird. They still tasted the exact same and it didn't crumble anywhere so in my opinion this isn't an issue, I mean you're eating it anyways so who cares.

New recipe ruined one of the best things
The cookies and cream bar used to be one of the best, if not the best, bar out there. So much so, that I could rarely find it in stores. This was my breakfast, every single day. Taste was great, texture was great. Then one day it changed…Got a box that I only ate one bar out of (half, of one of we’re being honest). The texture changed to rubbery and felt like I was chewing on a tire. The taste wasn’t the same either. The rest of that box hasn’t been touched. Went and bought a box elsewhere thinking maybe it was just the one… nope. It was gross too.Not sure why Atkins would try to fix something that wasn’t broke in the first place. But they’ve lost my $ now (and by reading reviews, others too).
