Arrived with grease stains on the back, the back is not moisture proof its white paper
It arrived in an undamaged box, with styrofoam-protected corners and slipped into an unsealed plastic covering with an opening on one end. The instructions and warranty were nicely tucked in the little side drawer with stickers all over the place with arrows pointing to all the features, that were easily removable like a post-it note type adhesive. Everything attached to the board is a hard plastic and this type of plastic is easily broken and chipped. Even the leg-bottoms are hard plastic. So it seems kind of fragile. I wouldn't want to knock it against anything or drop it. The plastic would break. The slide out book holder is also of a very thing, flexible hard plastic and does not seem sturdy enough to hold a text book, but would be okay for a light document or thin magazine. It doesn't seem very sturdy when pushed down into the slot at the top like the instructions say, nothing snaps in place or locks in place it just kind of sits there and is wiggly. I don't see this plastic lasting very long with the kind of use I got it for, to hold my new iPadpro, which is pretty heavy. All the moving mechanisms move smoothly and locking devices work well. The legs do not lock into place when opened up from the back, the weight of the table and things on it keeps it in place, but if you have it above your lap or set it down next to you, the legs can easily fold back in or get knocked and fold back in. I like that the hight is adjustable using plastic push tabs with tiny springs to adjust the height. But because they are plastic I don't see these lasting very long and like a DollarTree plastic chip clips, I can easily see them not functioning after repeated use or breaking apart because the tiny spring wears out. Same for the plastic tabs that open up the angle adjustment. It works wonderfully now but I just can't see it lasting for more than a few months if used daily. the hard plastics are thin, and the gear ratchet assembly is also made of that same breakable hard plastic. The table is pretty thin and lightweight, It is of a cheap pressboard material, covered on the topside with vinyl textured white adhesive material, with plastic trim around the edges. I am really upset that the back is just covered with white paper with oily stains over it. You can't really wipe it clean with a moist cloth, it will scratch and tear off easily as well as get very dirty. Even fingerprints won't come off. Or if you put lotion on your hands, the backing can easily absorb the oils from your hands leaving finger marks. I would suggest if you keep this you apply a polyurethane coating over it or paint it with acrylic paint to seal it so you can clean it and protect it from moisture and dirt. But that would void the warranty probably. The little diddy drawer on the left upper side slides nicely by only comes out a short distance just enough to hold a can of soda or similar diameter, a standard cup of coffee would not fit in it. I was a little disappointed the drawer does not pull out as far as I think it should for storage of things like glasses or pencils or little post-it notes. I prefer my drinks on my right side anyway, and so I use it pulled out to hold my JBL Charge3 round Bluetooth speakers for my laptop. It's a tight fit, but it's a great place for the speaker since I am deaf on my right side, and hear only on my left. I love how it fits perfectly over my lap with the legs down on my Lazyboy recliner. I can easily put my laptop, iPad, or a plate of food and drink on it and quickly adjust it to be level or at an angle for better ergonomics. I can also use it with the legs up and just rest it on my lap. The way the legs are made is very sturdy on my Chair, bed, or sofa, regarding rocking or tipping, You just have to be careful not to knock a leg inward as it doesn't lock into place when extended. I would recommend this product for its use, but it is cheaply constructed and will require care and TLC to keep it for more than a few months to a year before something on it breaks. Also, I would not get the white, because it is not very easily cleaned or wiped off on the back and it shows every little mark and dirty fingerprint. Also, be careful not to spill any liquids on it, it is not sealed on the sides and the cheap particle board material will swell under the top vinyl layer or behind the plastic side trim. I am not sure if I will return the item or not. I can live with the oil stains, it's on the bottom. I will use it for a few days and see how it holds out, this review is being written within an hour after I received this via USPS.

Large desk that makes my work area even more mobile
On occasion I work remotely. Depending on where I am I don't always have a traditional desk available, or it's inconvenient to use one. I use a laptop with a second screen extension I have a portable clip-on light that clips to the side of the desk. I have a mouse and I also have my phone. All of these items fit on this desk without any problem. If I need to write a note down I have enough room to push my mouse out of the way to use either a small notepad or a sticky note to write on the desktop. The little drawer on the side is large enough to hold some pens and a charger cord two. I haven't had occasion to use the book holder yet but it's sturdy and stays out of the way clipped underneath the desk. The legs are adjustable for height and fold in when not being used I can set the desk on my lap flatly with something between me and the bottom of the desk like a pillow if I just want to use it as a tray without the legs. This is by no means a complaint at all. But as I have detailed there's quite a bit that can fit on this desk, which means even though the legs fold up, this is a large desk. It's not going to fit in your laptop bag You're going to have to carry this in your arm. Having said that I would not get anything smaller because the inconvenience of not being able to put it in my laptop bag is negated by the usefulness of its size. If you're looking for a desktop that is sturdy and adjustable and large enough to hold more than just your little laptop this is a good choice.

Works fine, needed to add grippies on the legs to make it usable
I bought this to raise up from my bar height table and use as a standing desk with a treadmill underneath. With that amount of movement, as well as just general movement of using my laptop, it was sliding all over the place. The feet do not have any grip on the bottom, just hard plastic, giving it little stability.I bought grip tape with one side silicone material and one side adhesive and stuck it on and it does the job. I wish it came with it automatically.Other than that, fits two laptops side by side on it, as well as a stand for a phone - super helpful for work from home and meetings.I also like that you can adjust the height and use as a lap desk in bed.It can be folded down to almost flat and tucked away when needed too.Overall, it's a decent price point for a decent product. I'm sure theres nicer options but this one gets the job done with little fuss.

YES to the DESK!
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this desk. I’m so sorry some shoppers had bad experiences. So thrilled I bought it! It was packaged well for shipping. No marks nor dents. There was a little “oily” residue from one feature sticker, but a very quick swipe of rubbing alcohol took care of that with no discoloration.I set it up right away and got work. I was working from bed and it was easy to adjust the desk. My iPad, phone, wireless keyboard, planner, etc all fit well. Both of my devices were in their protective cases, so I used the book stand for my tablet. And I appreciated the cord management feature. I found the drawer easy to access, though I can see how others would prefer that it open a bit more. There’s a bumper/wrist rest that’s in a fixed position. It hasn’t been a problem with typing or writing so far. I’ll update this review if that changes. The textured surface prevented any of my items from sliding.I love the Camel color I chose! It’s not the sturdiest thing, but its not flimsy either. Putting the attachments back in place has been smooth, just be sure not to force anything. Keep in mind it is plastic and metal, thus the reasonable price. It’s not the piece to treat roughly. You’ll need to also be mindful if your getting up or moving around that it can tip away from you. If that’s an issue for you, some small weights (from a craft or sewing supply) could be glued to the front of the desk or legs to provide a counterweight.I would definitely purchase this again…and that may happen soon as other people in my family now want one!!
