Very High Quality
Performs very well, much better than the box store brand. Good price.

Quality, value, made in Japan
The orginal part lasted 15 years and hundred thousand miles. I see no reason why this part won't do the same. Fixed my problem immediately. If I don't purchase US made, Japanese is next on my list.

Fixed my Ford
My F150 was throwing random error codes at random times, and I replaced the O2 sensors and other components trying to resolve everything. Even after all that, I'd still get some code and the check engine light when on a longer trip. On a whim, I decided to change the Mass Airflow sensor. Haven't had a code since, and engine is smooth. This sensor fixed my problem.

Looks very close to the OEM part
Says USA on part. That surprised me. Fitment and function just like OEM. Cleared my P0102 code so far.

Fixed hard shifting
Bought for a 2012 Ford Escape V6 that was shifting improperly and sometimes harsh starts. It took a total of 10 minutes to install. I drove the truck for about 30 minutes and it shifts smoother and idles smoother as well. Great, cheap fix and a 1/3 of the cost of an OEM one.

It works.
I have been a auto technician for 10 years now and my company does not use aftetmarket MAF sensor on anything. I was extremely skeptical but it worked great! Fixed my symptoms and definitely made my new 2.5 duratec swap very happy.

Caused Lean Code Bank 1 & 2 Rough idle
I installed this device and after 30 days a check engine light came on and I had pulsating idle. With my diagnostic tool I found codes on my 2012 Ford Edge with Lean Bank 1 & 2. Using my tool I cleared the stored fuel trims. And started the vehicle while running graphs of fuel trims & mass Air Flow Sensor in Gs. I found the Short Trims above 25% and the mass airflow sensor reporting incorrect Mass Air as well as spikes appearing in the data. I removed the MAF and installed a Ford Motorcraft part at considerable more expense. Immediately my Fuel Trims dropped below +/-%5 and rock solid correct reading of 1Gs per liter @500rpm. It maybe I received a faulty part but I did not want to take a chance and with Motorcraft.

Just like OEM Motorcraft, with Part Numbers Scratched Off
I installed this in my 2008 Ford Expedition with the 5.4L. I was having lean codes P0171 and P0174. I first tried a cheap Chinese sensor that "Fixed" my codes, but only because it was drastically overstating the amount of air my engine was intaking. I knew my problem was only being masked because i was getting terrible gas mileage and my fuel trims were still maxed out. The stock sensor reads about 14.5 grams per second at 1850 RPS no load, and that is very close to what this Hitachi reads. The cheap Chinese sensor was reading about 24.5 gps at the same RPM. I finally found my issue to be low fuel pressure. I was getting 39 PSI Fuel pressure with engine running when I was supposed to have 62-69 PSI. I replaced the fuel pump, and installed this new Hitachi MAF0012 MAF sensor and that fixed my lean codes and restored my fuel mileage. My stock MAF sensor was fluctuating a little with the engine off, so I went ahead and replaced it with this.

Good quality product. My truck had rough idle, went into safe mode (stuck in 2nd gear and wouldn't get up or down - temp fix was taking negative off battery and reseating to reset the sensor), was "bucking" (moving slightly back and forth while idling) when stopped at stoplights etc. I thought it was for sure my Throttle Body... After calling my local auto parts supplier and getting their price on their cheapest MAF sensor it was double the price of this one. I figured, at this price, I'd try replacing the MAF sensor first and see if it fixes the issues with my rough idle, bucking and safe mode issues. Result: It did. My old MAF sensor looked perfectly fine so I was doubtful at first but after installing the new sensor my problems were resolved. If you're having any of my issues try replacing this sensor first before spending $500.00 on a new throttle body.

Antes de pedir la refacción reviso diferentes portales y me sorprendió el costo y lo rápido que este sensor tenía para la marca que es. Solo queda instalarlo.
