Joop! Homme Le Parfum – Aromatic Men's Cologne – With Notes of Lavender, Iris & Tonka Bean – Luxury Perfumes for Men – Long Lasting Fragrance

I'm impressed with this one in every way, I've used the OG for over 20 years and I love it, but it's not for everybody, I get that. But Joop Le Parfum is a crowd pleaser in my opinion. It's not as overbearing as the OG but it's still a performer. It downplayed the spice and upped the sweetness(which is odd because the OG was very sweet smelling to begin with) and the florals come through a little easier with the spice toned down. It starts off thick,sweet and floral, dries to smooth and slightly spicy(it lacks that late 80s-early 90s punch) and theres an almost fruity smell i get that reminds me of grape(i heard that orange blossom can smell like grape so that might be it) and its super pleasant. Now while I prefer the OG for nostalgia mostly, Le Parfum is much more modern and versatile. Now to talk performance, it's a beast! Projection is 10/10(a little goes a long way) and I've smelled it on my skin after 7 hours and on my shirt the next day(at least 16 hours) it will definitely get you through the day, so longevity gets a 10/10 as well . I caught it on sale, but I'd buy it again at full price which i see right now is around 80 dollars, a 4.2fl oz bottle of something this good is worth the price. All in all I highly HIGHLY recommend this fragrance! I'll definitely be buying this one again.

An excellent fragrance to own. The perfume of sweet and delicate subtle aroma but with a masculine undertone is a must for any evening. Fragrance last for hours (parfum).Recommended.

I had no idea 'parfume' was such a massive leap above toilette - which was already a solid cologne. This Joop Homme le parfume is absolute next level. Only issue is is smells so damn good that other people in the house will want to use it and at $$$ a bottle it doesnt last long. Also last a solid 4-6 hours. This was so much better then i could have imagined.

Smells really strong and projects well it’s just a bit too much for my taste

Initially I just got this for the lawls.. I'm aware it's an old school smell but I bought it anyway and honestly I really like it. It has an Initially chemically smell but it goes away quickly leaving nice sweet smell that lingers for hours.

this is not the same fume formula that I have bought in the past even though it says it is it smells like ranted lilac.

This version of JOOP! is truly remarkable. The Le Parfum floral notes of lavender/iris is quite a winning combination. I also have the EDP version, yet the two versions are totally different. ( Have received numerous compliments on both). Projection/longevity is top notch on this version- 10 hours easily. Definitely going to purchase this again.
