Could I drill hole into the bottom to make a hood ornament?

It is not the right material to be exposed to weather and the bumps and vibrations of being attached to a car/truck. One arm on mine broke off when it was bumped. It is meant to be a figurine/statue, decoration. I would be a super cool hood ornament if it were made to take the abuse.

Did anyone else's come with markings that look like scratches or a line from where the two pieces of a casting meet?

I have 3 of them and none have any marks.

Will this sink to the bottom of a fish tank?

I've never put it in a fish tank, but it's kind of heavy, so I'm guessing that it would sink to the bottom.
