Fantastic Customer Service
I have been using this water dispenser since December 2018. It has been working great. After 3 years of frequent daily use it stopped dispensing water. I tried to troubleshoot the issue on my own but wasn’t able to figure it out. I emailed Avalon customer support for help. I got an immediate response. Tyler H. sent me a clear description and a video that got it working again in about 10 minutes. We change the water bottle about once a week. I have young kids who fill their own water bottles so the dispenser gets a lot of let’s say not so gentle use. It has held up well and when I did have an issue Tyler H.‘s fantastic support had it fixed quickly. I don’t usually write reviews on Amazon but the quality of customer support from Avalon is very review worthy. I think anyone making a list of best water dispensers should take note.

Unit thermostat failed, no replacement under warranty.
Oh, where do I even begin with this marvelous piece of engineering genius? I had the pleasure of owning the Avalon A6 water dispenser for a whole year. I wouldn't recommend. The thermostat failed after 12 months of use, causing the cold water tank to freeze solid. I mean, who needs a thermostat to work properly in a water dispenser, right? It's not like I expect my cold water to be a consistent cold temperature or anything. But alas, this little piece of wizardry couldn't handle the pressure of maintaining a simple temperature setting. Perhaps I was asking too much of it.Customer service from the company were helpful, I'll give them that. They tried to troubleshoot the issue and pretended like they cared. But when it came to honoring the warranty and actually doing something to rectify the situation, they suddenly developed selective amnesia.Their grand solution? A jaw-dropping 25% discount on a new water cooler! Oh, how they must think we're all made of money and eager to throw it at another one of their high-quality products. Because, you know, I just love the thrill of taking my chances with yet another device that's destined to fail - It's like playing Russian Roulette with my hydration! If you're on the lookout for a water dispenser that will give you a taste of the good life for 365 days before kicking the thermostat bucket and providing you with a glass of solid cold nothing, then asking you to throw more money at them for a replacement, look no further! The Avalon A6 is the perfect addition to your home, assuming you have money to burn and a masochistic streak.

Decent cooler so far (see details). Recommended
Between the house and the salon, my family goes through a LOT of water coolers. Years ago, we switched from top-load, gravity feed, to bottom-load, pump-based coolers. Since then, we've gone through a couple every 18-24 months. We got the Avalon Bottom-Loading Hot & Cold Water Water Cooler Dispenser (White) to replace a similarly capable Brio unit. Here are some thoughts:1. ergonomically, I really prefer the dispensing levers on this unit to top-mounted buttons (though the downside is that "ledge" isn't deep enough to leave your beverage on2. the pump pickup tube is pretty good with our 5 gallon bottles. There's usually less than 3 ounces of water left behind when the pump won't draw anymore (which is fine to just pour out into our dog water bowls)3. the white plastic matches Samsung Bespoke appliances enough to look ok, but the overall vibe isn't particularly upscaleMy initial impression is fine. The unit works well, and it's relatively quiet. Then again, ALL of the bottom-loading coolers work well - to start. I've noticed that, with the volume that we go through (about 12 bottles per month), the coolers die after about 2 years. I get the 3 year extended warranty from Amazon (Asurion) at check out. Basically, you'll spend about $60 (tax and policy cost) every couple years, when it dies.I'll update this review with longevity information, when/if something happens. Recommended

Attractive and space saving water dispenser
This replaced one of those dispensers that a delivery service provides for free. Those huge black unsightly ones. I love the way it looks! Hot water is very hot and cold water is very cold. It also dispenses the water so silently. Nothing negative to report so far.

Great machine, worth every penny
I wanted a machine that would clean itself. This one is great! I am really happy that this also because it is a bottom loader and it's so easy to use. I easily am able to switch the bottles and since I have one 5 gallon and one 3 gallon, it's so simple to fit both of them and they run like a dream. It's not loud but it's hearable so keep that in mind if you don't like little background noises. You will hear the motor start and stop to cool or head the water in the tanks. We go through a lot of water and this is perfect too because it lets you know when you are getting low. I love this.

Works well and it is pretty quiet.
After 3 months it still works perfectly. We don't use it for hot water but I tried it once and it was pretty hot and ready in short time. Cold water is what we need and it does work well too. Only one upgrade I would like to suggest to the manufacturer... Make the cold temperature adjustable. This would put you above the completion.
