Beautiful and very sturdy. We purchased a table from homestock furniture that matches perfectly. They were easy to put together. The light oak finish is not easily scratched. It came with all of the parts, no damage and easy to put together in a few minutes. We purchased u-shaped 2 inch chair pads from Amazon and they fit perfectly.

I started by purchasing the East West Yarmouth 30x48 Kitchen table, which is incredibly nice and was super easy to assemble, and then I needed some chairs to go with it. Normally I'd want to actually sit in a chair before purchasing, but these had such good reviews, and I've been so happy with the East West table, that I decided to take a chance and order the 2 East West VAC-OAK-W Vancouver dinning chairs, and I'm very happy I did. I like to take my time, so it took me about an hour per chair for assembly. Nothing hard, all by my myself, just slow and methodical, not tightening the screws until it was all put together and standing upright on the floor. After all the screws were tightened on the 1st chair, there was a very tiny wobble when standing by itself, but when sitting in the chair, no wobble at all. Same thing with the 2nd chair. Just for giggles, I loosened the screws on one of the chairs, placed in flat on the floor again, sat in it, then laid down on the floor and tightened all the screws again, and the same thing, just a very tiny wobble when standing by itself, but when seated, it's perfectly fine, so that's fine with me. What surprised me is how comfortable these chairs are. I was ready to purchase cushions, but now I see no need, seriously, I enjoy sitting in these chairs while I'm eating breakfast, or working on some project, or playing cards. They are heavy and stable and super comfortable. Highly recommended.

Easy enough to assemble. Did replace the less than stellar tiny chair leg gliders on the chairs with screw in felt ones. Time will tell how long the chairs will last.

The chairs are solid and beautiful. They are very well made and they look great with my dining room table.

Quality construction, ease of assembly, very sturdy and perfect for breakfast table. Excellent product at a very reasonable price. Would recommend or purchase again.

This is well crafted for assembly. One size machine bolts for the legs and 4 Phillips head wood screws for the hoop that goes underneath the seat ad helps hold the back legs firmly. After you put the front legs on to the seat part, tip it so the front legs are on the floor, and the seat vertical. Put the hoop into the holes and set the wood screws in their holes. Use a short fat Phillps screw driver the fits those wood screw sand. Then with it on the floor you can lean you weight on it and they go in easily and firmly. I tried it by hand only and it was a bit too hard for my 77 year old hands. I need a pad as it is a hard sit and perfectly flat, no sculpting at all. Flat seat. But a cushion works. Two things that are hard for an older person. My legs don't reach the ground. And the chair is so heavy it takes me two hands to lift an move. I am going to find something to rest my feet on. These things can be accommodated. It it nice to see real wood and holes that line up so putting screws in by hand it not hard. This is my computer chair now, after wasting a lot of money on "computer chairs", a good wood chair will last. If I have to get up and move around more, good thing.

I love these. They are easy to put together and very sturdy. They also have a slim profile, so they tuck right into the table. They replaced chairs that had curved arms on them so they stuck out quite a bit so these give a lot more room around the table.
