Great product! We used it for date nights to create our own candles. It was such a fun experience and so much more affordable than going to a candle making place. We were able to make quite a few with all the product included. We will definitely buy again.

Complete kit, and it's a good value to see if you really want to invest in the craft of candlemaking. I think I will invest in a hot plate because of better temperature control, and the pitcher/pan is smaller than it looks. Read the description of the product carefully.

I wanted to refill a candle bowl and make a new candle (mound and hot plate bought separate). It took about 2 hours to make these. This kit had everything I needed including wicks, was and the container to melt the wax. It worked! You

Pros: The kit came with the basic necessities (no molds or containers, but that was made clear in the description). Cons: No instructions at all. If you don’t have a hot plate, a very small burner on your stove is necessary, or you will have to use the double boiler method. The wax quality was so-so. This was my first time using soy wax, but from what I've read it should be comparable to traditional wax, only with a lot less smoke. I made small (2" diameter X 3.5" tall pillars). The area around the wick only melted in a 1" diameter circle, leaving the flame to "drown" in that pool of melted wax. Soy wax might be more suited for tapered candles, which will be my next project with this kit/wax. If that gives a better result, an updated review will be forthcoming.

I loved this product so much that is the second time I’ve bought it! It has everything you need to make candles (besides the scent, but I had my own oils that I wanted to use). I love that the bricks of wax take the guesswork out of how much to use. I’ve already made a couple candles and they burn great! There aren’t any instructions, but you can easily google it or watch a YouTube video. I would definitely recommend this as a gift or just a fun activity!

I love the pre weighed and packaged soy wax. It made it way easier to measure with out a scale. The pot is smaller than I realized. The dimensions are accurate, but the pot is small to me. I wanted to make 2 11.5oz candles and I had to do 2 separate batches to get that done. The kit comes with roughly 16oz of soy wax. So I split that in half and added some beeswax to fill the rest. Beeswax and this wax work well together. The dried flowers aand wooden wicks are from another kit and they work very well together too.

My wife asked me to order her a kit for a candle making craft night she was going to with some friends. This was the best kit I found for including lots of tools and minimal additional purchases being required. All she needed was a fire safe container to make the candle in (she ended up using an old empty candle jar) and something to scent the wax (she used essential oils which we already owned). There is more than enough wicks for many more projects. Now we only have to order more wax when she wants to make more candles. Highly recommend for a craft night party!

This is perfect to start out, simple and inexpensive.

Great starter kit with all you need to make some plain white unscented candles. If new to candle-making this kit does not come with an instructional booklet on preparation, or explain what else you will need or want. Not included and you will need or want to buy: - Heat-resistant glass/ceramic pots or jars to create the candle in. - Coloured wax dyes to add to the plain wax. - Essential oils and scents to add to the wax. - If you have never made candles before, buy a book on candle-making for beginners or use the internet. Preparation and understanding the process makes all the difference. Candle-making is a safe and easy craft to learn and do.
