Ordered the knife sharpening kit on a whim for my son who is a knife collector. Quite frankly, I'm no expert, but he is, and I was afraid it wouldn't be up to the quality he's to. After opening it and using this knife sharpening set on about four knives I can comfortably say that this is the best knife sharpening set that I have purchased. One thing that I appreciated was the compact nature of the set with the amount of features that you get. It has a nice variety of Stone grit to fit any occasion you need to repair your knives. The honey strap comes in handy if you have display knives. Every night that I've sharpened with this passes the paper test flawlessly. Combine the instructions that they give you with a couple YouTube videos and you are good to go. Highly recommended.

Great stones and strop. Not a fan of the guide, tends to come off knives easily. Not a deal breaker for me as I’ve used stones before. This does a great job of putting a near razor edge on all my knives, even the older ones that haven’t been sharpened in a long time.

What a great set of sharpening stones for the price! These stones are easy to use and set up. Say goodbye to dull knives. A dull knife is a dangerous knife. After using these stones, my kitchen knives slice through vegetables and meats with ease. Great tutorial comes with the set.

It worked for me. I got light feathery shavings after sharpening my plane blade. A bit more mess to deal with after though. I get a "this could turn into a ritual" vibe. I kinda dig that but maybe not so great if you need to get setup and put away quick while working in your shop.

This is the first time sharpening my knives. The guide helped me get the right angle until i had muscle momory and could do it without it. The price was amazing compared to other products and does a great job. I was nervous at first but i quickly picked it up. Great product and very happy with my purchase. Definitely 5star product.

The kit is well equipped and the stones appear to be decent quality. they did a good job sharpening some plane irons.I like to have a sharp knife. Pocket knives, steak knives, chef's/cooking knives. The blades clamp on well to the angle roller, and it’s relatively easy to estimate the proper angle of the blade for sharpening

Grid is not what they claim, no big difference in all 4 whetstones :-(
