These dice are not only oversized, but also lightweight, and gorgeous! We appreciate the scoreboard for Yard zee and Farkle. There is also a sheet included to explain several other dice games that may be enjoyed with these dice. My daughter can't wait to have her game/movie/sleepover party so she can have all of the oversized games to play with her friends. I could have made my own but running short on party prep time. I would definitely recommend for anyone without the capability or time to make your own. The craftsmanship is excellent. These dice would also make beautiful decoration around the home. Also, great if you have small children just learning to count or add and subtract.

Not quite as big as I expected, but seem like good quality so far.

I am going to gift this to my boyfriend's family and I loved it. The dice are just like the picture and the perfect size for outdoor use. My only complaint is that the dry erase board is a little flimsy, but overall is perfect, especially for the price tag!

I go back and forth thinking on one hand if these were bigger they would be cooler and it's only wood so it shouldn't be that much more expensive to manufacture them. These are about the size of softballs, and I initially thought they might be more entertaining if they were cantaloupe size or larger. On the other hand, wood IS heavy. You get some people having a few beers or glasses of wine and throwing large heavy blocks of wood around and it's probably going to end badly. So I strike my initial thoughts about them not being big enough and feel that they are appropriately sized for certain. The set of dice comes with a scoring board that has a Yatzee-style game and Farkle but you could use these for any standard dice game. There are rules for 8 different games that come with the dice. Note to manufacturer: perhaps a full set of huge wooden polyhedral dice would be a good idea too. (well, maybe. . . roll for damage?) Sometimes the simple games are best to play when you don't know who's going to be playing. We keep these in the trunk and if we get stuck at a rest stop or a relative's house for longer than kids/grandkids can entertain themselves they come in very handy.

This is a fun set of giant yard dice. Each of the dice is about the size of a standard coffee cup. It comes with a carrying case and a dry erase board for keeping score. I like grilling with my family, and this game is a nice way to pass the time while the food is cooking. The dice have a pleasant weight, finish, and texture. This yard game is a great way to relax. It would also make a good beach game.

I love the size of these. Perfect to work with the kids. I also appreciate the mix of woods - the dots are made off a darker wood. But the wood on the dice has many marks and perforations. So looks that the product has a lack of care or attention to detail when is being made. The bag fits perfectly the dices and the white board (with comes with a pen too!), but the quality is really low. Not sure how much this bag can endure. Perfect for schools and picnics.
