Fit and perform as well as original battery

No instructions were included. Normally, the battery fits exactly into the charger. In this case, however, the battery is smaller than the charger and would fall out of the charger. We finally figured out that this charger is different than the other ones that I have. (I have several Canon cameras. This was my 1st Samsung charger. I purchased an open-box item, and my camera did not come with a battery, so I did not have any other Samsung charger experience.) My other chargers insert the battery by sliding the battery into the charging slot (with both being in a horizontal position). This Samsung charger has the battery vertical to the charger to insert it. Hold the battery at a 90 degree angle to the charger (with the contact ends lined up) and swing the battery into the charger. It looks like you are closing a door when you insert the battery correctly. When the battery is inserted this way, it does not fall out. Because this battery is not intuitive (the battery is a noticeablty different size than the space it inserts into and it does not have an obvious way to attach to the charger), I would recommend the manufacturer to include instructions for this charger. The batteries did fit my Samsung camera, and I had no problems with the contacts not aligning. The price was reasonable. Any camera that takes any batteries other than AA should always have at least 1 spare battery for extended camera use. The battery charger kit included one wall charger, an attachment to use the charger in a car, and international adapter for the charger, and 2 batteries. Also included was a microfiber. The only reason I gave this charger 4 stars was because of the difficulty in figuring out how to use it. A simple photo of the battery insertion technique on the box would have sufficed.

This saved an old Samsung Camera that is still in excellent condition. Fits it perfect. Will always have backup batteries.

Had a dead battery for my little Samsung digital camera and couldn't find any new ones. This set of 2 new batteries and charger were just the ticket. Charged one battery quickly and took it to the beach. The battery is still charged and that was 3 weeks ago. Seems like they hold a charge a good long time. If that changes I'll come back and do an update.

I just received my two battery pack kit. I got it opened it up to only receive one battery and I paid for the two.

I have changed my initial evaluation from 1 to 5. There were no instructions on inserting the battery into the charger, so I treated this unit like all of the other re-chargers that I have used in the past. Insert battery into a snug slot. The slot on this unit isn't snug so I thought that unit had the wrong battery adapter. The vendor sent me another unit with a battery already inserted. You have to "push" the battery into charging unit until you hear a little "click". This unit has a very slight indented battery profile that you have to push the battery into. Once the battery's shape is in the indentation it will fit and hold into the charger. The vendor took time and made the effort to assist me in using this unit properly.
